Read the community guidelinesAside from the owner and managers, the colleagues are generally easy to get along with.
The workload is somewhat heavy, and the working hours are long (during peak periods, there are only four days off per week; working on Saturdays is mandatory and is not paid as overtime).
One day of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday was taken up by work, and on National Day, employees were told to come to work without prior notice. The next day, the owner still berated me.
If you did not study design (i.e., you are not a design major), you should think carefully before applying.
This job requires extensive knowledge of prepress processes and software applications related to printing, as well as layout work,
and involves many extremely tedious details. Without prepress knowledge, it is very easy to make mistakes, after which you will be harshly reprimanded.
The work procedures are not explained clearly; they only tell you how things should be done after you make a mistake.
The company environment is poor and smells of smoke. It is also a family business, so children may run around and play, affecting your mood at work.
The owner and managers have very bad tempers. They like to verbally attack people and make sarcastic remarks, undermining employees' confidence.
On holidays, I was even asked to clean the restrooms, take out the trash, and wait for the garbage truck with my coworkers.
During peak periods, employees are required to help with work on the packaging production line.
Late at night after work, the owner may send you messages on LINE asking about the progress of your cases. If you do not respond immediately, you will be scolded first thing the next morning.
The owner says they do not like employees working overtime, but if work is unfinished after hours, you will also be criticized for not staying voluntarily.
I sincerely advise anyone considering working for this company to think twice. I personally do not recommend it.
