1. The employee turnover rate is “extremely high.” You have to take on the previous person’s workload and often do tasks outside your responsibilities (usually because no one else can be found, so you keep doing them), yet there is no reward system.
2. The company has two CEOs, A and B. They disagree with each other but do not communicate directly, making it difficult for subordinates to work. (When something goes wrong, they may even push the blame onto each other.)
3. A believes that “leaving work on time” is a sign of not being serious or not having enough work. A once said: “I see everyone constantly complaining about being tired, yet you all leave work on time.”
4. A is emotional and will constantly mutter complaints when things do not go as desired, creating a poor work atmosphere.
5. When the work completed or reports written do not meet expectations, or when the way you do things or your ideas differ from B’s, B often makes sarcastic, passive-aggressive remarks toward employees.
6. After you leave the company, people will speak badly about you incessantly and blame everything on the previous employees for not completing their work properly.
7. The rules for salary adjustments and bonuses are unclear.
8. Both CEOs are very skilled at psychological manipulation, making employees question whether their abilities are inadequate. They assign work poorly but always believe that employees are not putting in enough effort, are not serious, or do not think about the company.
9. A’s views on environmental education are overly idealistic and stubborn. When they do not align with actual implementation, A assumes that the employees are incompetent.
Summary: Run for your life.
None
There’s a lot to do, with countless miscellaneous tasks. During the probationary period, there’s simply no time for you to learn—you’re expected to go straight into battle.
Overtime is mandatory, yet there is absolutely no overtime pay, which clearly violates the Labor Standards Act.
You’re also expected to cook lunch for the entire office. When I heard that, I was just like, “What???”
Even more frightening is that everyone there has this look on their face as if to say, “All other jobs are like this too.” They’ve clearly been brainwashed.
If you submit your resignation before completing three months, you still have to wait 10 days. The key point is that the employment contract doesn’t even include any relevant provision.
Then, after I raised this issue and referred to the Labor Standards Act, I was threatened that they would not let me leave until they found a replacement.
The longest anyone has worked at this place is only a year and a half. What do you think—is there something wrong with this place?
