Read the community guidelinesFreedom— as long as the work gets done, they basically don’t interfere.
Violates multiple provisions of the Labor Standards Act.
They will dismiss you using all kinds of reasons. In reality, they simply found an employee willing to work for a lower salary, and they do not follow the Labor Standards Act at all.
The company just thinks that dismissing you is legal as long as they pay severance and issue a certificate of involuntary termination, but in fact, it has violated the law.
1. Illegal dismissal (the reason is insufficient, and they cannot provide evidence of how you are unsuitable for the position)
2. The principle that dismissal should be the last resort (no prior meetings, improvement efforts, or communication)
3. No overtime pay, only compensatory leave.
The water bottle breaks as soon as it gets scratched and will also leak. The pot is also difficult to scrub and will burn and discolor.
There are a lot of reviews on Dcard.
Pros: There are basically no customers on weekdays, so there is very little to do.
Cons:
1. The website says the company provides coverage under the Labor Standards Act, but it does not. I only found out when the National Pension and insurance policy documents were mailed to my home. The key issue is that they did not proactively enroll employees, and after I raised the matter, they shamelessly said they would enroll me after two months. This means previous full-time employees were never enrolled either.
2. There is no job training, system, or benefits whatsoever. You are simply a disposable store-sitting employee.
3. This small shop exploits many loopholes. It requires excessive hours—225 hours in long months and 216 hours in short months—in violation of the Labor Standards Act. In addition, under the one fixed day off and one flexible rest day system, you do not actually get eight days off. Overtime pay is not calculated either. The young owner has poor emotional control and, instead of considering that the company’s own system causes the high turnover, clearly has the despicable attitude of wanting to find disposable employees who are easy to use and exploit.
4. Most importantly, full-time employees also have to bear management responsibility for running the store. Although there is no path for promotion, the owner and store manager only come to restock once a week, while still requiring full-time employees to train new hires. New employees are left to figure everything out on their own.
5. There are no bonuses for the three major holidays, perfect-attendance bonuses, or national holidays. Taking leave during consecutive holidays or the Lunar New Year is prohibited. There are no employee gatherings, trips, or annual leave. The store does not issue invoices and evades taxes, while also requiring store employees to help falsify records.
