When the issue of overtime pay came up during the interview, the interviewer initially said that overtime pay was provided. However, when asked whether it was calculated according to the overtime hours stipulated by the Labor Standards Act, the interviewer said she was not sure and went out to find another supervisor to explain. The other supervisor said that to receive compensatory leave, employees had to apply for overtime by 3 p.m. that afternoon and state how many hours they would be working overtime. Overtime work and attending events were mainly compensated with compensatory leave, and only if the leave truly could not be used up could it be exchanged for money. It sounded like overtime pay could not actually be claimed, especially since she said that the supervisors were all under a responsibility-based work system.
The office is on the second floor, and the floor shakes whenever anyone walks.

During the interview, the manager frequently suddenly looked outside or to the side. I felt this was somewhat disrespectful to the interviewee and had an impact.
Personal opinion: Based solely on the 40-minute interview, I felt that the manager seemed somewhat old-fashioned, and the way they asked questions was not very likable.

The company acts as an agent for mother-and-child products (baby carriers, strollers, etc.). The location is difficult to find—it is simply a warehouse with offices upstairs. There is a computer-based test for Chinese typing (?) and an Excel test; I don’t know what the standard is. I thought my performance was fairly good, but there was no follow-up.
