Pros

Close to the MRT station—nothing else.

Cons

Straight to the point

Want to experience what it feels like to be emotionally manipulated?

You definitely have to come in!

The two shares above are already the most truthful, so I won’t say more~

Close to the MRT station

The boss is very good at exploiting employees—an impressive skill in its own way.

Cons

First, thanks to the former employee for the first review.

During the interview, the boss initially made everything sound great: there would be overtime pay, overtime would be infrequent, and if an employee worked overtime, she would proactively ask why… None of that is true!

There is absolutely no overtime pay for working overtime on weekdays. The boss also does not care whether you work overtime or not; the number of projects on your plate will only keep increasing. If you cannot finish them and submit them to the boss on time, she will simply think there is something wrong with your abilities.

What causes the most pressure is the boss’s attitude. She speaks aggressively and only talks to you in an interrogative tone. Having a meeting with her is practically psychological torture; every time, you have to prepare yourself to be grilled.

When the boss is in a bad mood, just prepare to get chewed out in the meeting. The meetings are long, drawn-out, and a waste of time. That said, they do have a certain level of professional expertise, so the meetings move very quickly and you need to record them. A few days after the meeting ends, they will ask you to produce a proposal immediately—it is practically killing you.

I really do not know how they manage to take on so many projects while refusing to hire more employees. In any case, each person has to handle many projects and is constantly being chased by the boss for deliverables. If you cannot produce them, it means you are incompetent, and eventually you will keep doubting your own professional abilities.

Working in an environment with such intense psychological pressure, no confidence, and no time for your own life is practically devoting your life to the job. All I can say is: leave as soon as possible!

Pros

There are no advantages, I guess. The only advantage is that the location is good (?)

Cons

Please, even if you pass the interview, do not go there!!!!!!! (A heartfelt warning)

After resigning once I had completed a year, my only regret is not knowing what I was agonizing over back then—I should have left earlier.

There are two bosses, one man and one woman. The main person in charge is a young female boss.

First, here are the horrifying parts:

1. The company is a small one with around 10–12 people. During the year I stayed, every colleague around me was replaced; 15 people left within 12 months. The longest tenure was two years. (Pretty outrageous, right?)

2. The female boss is extremely scheming, has a terrible temper, and has a serious princess complex.

Basically, whether it is a weekday or a holiday, she expects you to answer her calls. You are like her 24-hour boyfriend. If you miss a call, she will ask whether you are not working (but why can she ask employees to work outside working hours?).

Yelling at you is the norm. She will also blame other people’s personalities, saying they are gloomy / introverted, so everything is other people’s fault—logic like that.

3. The female boss targets individuals and engages in severe bullying.

The company operates under terrifying centralized control. How does she make you feel the terror? She first picks someone she has recently taken a dislike to and starts “hounding” them. There are all kinds of ways to do this: from nitpicking the way you speak and constantly “adjusting” it, to continually dumping large and small tasks on you so that you cannot teach anyone anything and then blaming you for being incompetent; spreading bad things about you among other colleagues; assigning you the worst position at an event and then berating you; or even making you take the blame for a project (because she failed to negotiate properly with a client and lost money, she actually wanted the employee to pay for it). The person being hounded either resigns or waits until she starts hounding someone else.

Also, since most people there work in an isolated, one-person mode (there are relatively few cases of jointly carrying out designs or planning projects), when you do not understand the details of other people’s work, it is difficult to realize at first that this is bullying. Experienced employees who know what is going on and cannot stand it leave on their own; some who can tolerate it simply stand by coldly or even help the bully? (One reason I resigned was that I could not stand watching it anymore. I found it disgusting.)

3. Who cares whether you take leave or not?

Basically, if you are assigned to a project, she does not ask whether you are free on holidays; she asks which days you are not free. Simply put, all your holidays are spent working at events. She says you can take compensatory leave, but in reality, when you take a day off on a weekday, she calls you nonstop.

It is the same as having no leave at all. Some might say, “Then just don’t answer her calls.” But you will receive the treatment described below (the workplace bullying mentioned in point 2), or she will tell you that weekdays are when clients work, so you have to respond to them. If that is the case—

you are on call on weekdays and working events on holidays, when do you get to take time off?

The most terrifying part is that working events on holidays comes with overtime pay (whereas no matter how late you work on weekdays, you receive no overtime pay). How is the overtime pay calculated? Your salary is converted into an hourly rate, with no additional premium or allowance whatsoever. So they will exploit the cheapest new hires to the extreme—truly exploit them to the extreme. (You will see yourself working at 3–5 events in a row while other people take turns.) The key point is that travel time and time spent beyond the scheduled event hours are not paid either. (This is truly outrageous.) In other words, the money you earn by sacrificing your holidays to work events is actually less than what you would make working in the office on weekdays. So this really cannot be called “overtime pay.” Even the temporary workers they hire are treated as more valuable than you.

4. A vicious woman saying vicious things

I have seen that almost everyone who resigned left after completely falling out with the company. Later, several colleagues I was close to and I shared the bullying things the boss had said to us.

a. The new project employee is younger than you, more willing to work overtime than you, and earns less than you.

(What does being young have to do with it—is she selling their bodies? How can you have the nerve to expect people to work overtime without paying overtime? Saying they earn less basically means you do not value the people beneath you at all. We are just disposable chopsticks that can be replaced at any time.)

b. I really do not know how to communicate with introverted people. (In a contemptuous tone.)

d. If I could, I really would fire all of you and do the work myself.

(????)

e. He is not good-looking enough.

(By the way, is one of the company’s hiring standards that people have to be good-looking?????????? I really do not know whether I came here to sell my body.)

-----------------------

Conclusion:

This is truly a company that treats its employees terribly. It completely fails to regard you as one of its own. Most of the time, I felt that the clients treated me better.

Please! If you have any other options, really, really do not spend your time here. Even if you pass the interview, do not come just because you want to get started quickly. Seriously, do not waste your life.

Also, a brief summary:

Company environment & location: OK. One floor of a small apartment building next to Zhongxiao Fuxing Station.

Overall environment (colleagues): It completely depends on whom you happen to encounter. The entire team had already changed once after I joined. I met colleagues who were awful beyond words as well as colleagues who were incredibly nice (but you cannot work with many of them for very long because turnover is so high).

Salary: Average, average, average, average, average, average. It is not particularly low, but it is not high either. However, given the boss’s relentless psychological bullying and extreme exploitation, it is not worth it.

Year-end bonus: Less than one month’s salary after a full year. (Well, most people cannot last a year anyway, so it probably does not matter, right? Sometimes I wonder whether they deliberately make people unable to last a year so they do not have to pay the year-end bonus.)

Learning: Are you saying you can learn things here that you cannot learn at other companies? (Absolutely not.) I used to use this to convince myself, but later realized I was only comforting myself. After leaving, I felt so foolish and naïve.
