The company's processes are a complete mess, with piles of repetitive and miscellaneous tasks. The department manager doesn't understand the actual processes at all and hasn't tried to help coordinate anything. They hired an assistant, but the manager ended up doing everything themselves, while everyone else still has just as many miscellaneous tasks as before. The manager often pretends to be busy and doesn't know anything when asked, but is very good at taking credit for sales. They frequently slash prices for no reason, yet keep an eye on our other sales channels and won't let us match those prices (what kind of twisted logic is that?). When product bundles sell well through other channels, the manager takes them and sells them for even less; or, when something is selling well, they temporarily take the inventory for themselves to sell, leaving nothing for the other channels to buy. Of course their sales performance is the best—no wonder! Then the other channels get PUA'd for not meeting their sales targets! Anyone who feels too idle and wants to be mistreated can go work there!
In short, just look at which department has the most open positions, and you'll know where the problems are!
On the surface, it appears open-minded by claiming to be an ESG company, but in reality, the office atmosphere is terrible. You are not allowed to chat; if you do, word will get back to the boss, who will then make things difficult for you at every turn and deliberately hinder your work. Taking leave is also made difficult, and even when you work overtime, you are not allowed to submit an overtime form.
There is far too much to say. If you are planning to apply, run when you see this! This is advice from someone who has been there. The company trades on the name of being a B Corp, and the boss may even pretend to show concern for you, but in reality, it is a case of the queen calling the shots. Whatever she wants done, you must carry it out, regardless of whether it is feasible.
The boss is often wildly imaginative, while the frontline managers only know how to flatter her and agree to everything. In the end, they dump it all on the department specialists. A company like this should be consigned to the ashes of history—do not come here and助紂為虐 (help a tyrant do evil). You will spend all the salary you earn on medical treatment.
Can't think of any.
The problems never end
Exploitative bosses and managers
I've heard certain people gossiping together about former employees
It feels like there is no consideration of whether anything within the company needs adjusting
Those who want to give it a try should think it over carefully
