The company's processes are a complete mess, with piles of repetitive and miscellaneous tasks. The department manager doesn't understand the actual processes at all and hasn't tried to help coordinate anything. They hired an assistant, but the manager ended up doing everything themselves, while everyone else still has just as many miscellaneous tasks as before. The manager often pretends to be busy and doesn't know anything when asked, but is very good at taking credit for sales. They frequently slash prices for no reason, yet keep an eye on our other sales channels and won't let us match those prices (what kind of twisted logic is that?). When product bundles sell well through other channels, the manager takes them and sells them for even less; or, when something is selling well, they temporarily take the inventory for themselves to sell, leaving nothing for the other channels to buy. Of course their sales performance is the best—no wonder! Then the other channels get PUA'd for not meeting their sales targets! Anyone who feels too idle and wants to be mistreated can go work there!
In short, just look at which department has the most open positions, and you'll know where the problems are!
