The boss is absolutely terrible, contributes nothing, and constantly gets in the way and causes trouble.
They expect one person to do the work of three, and are incredibly stingy.
Once you start working there, you have to do everything from start to finish, and you get scolded every day.
The boss watches YouTube right in front of you with the volume blaring, while telling you that you can't eat. They eat noisily themselves, clip their fingernails and flick the clippings near your seat, and the company doesn't provide toilet paper—the boss even secretly takes yours. There are just too many awful things to list.
I recently saw that they have started recruiting again.
I hope everyone avoids falling into this trap.
The office building has dedicated cleaning staff, and the restrooms are kept in good condition.
(1) The Boss
The boss tells employees in meetings that the bonus system is open and transparent, with all bonuses distributed according to the system. In reality, this is not the case, and bonuses are often made to disappear. There are many underhanded tactics, and as employees, we can only be angry and dare not speak up.
The boss arbitrarily changes employees’ break times and leave arrangements simply to isolate employees he dislikes.
During working hours, the boss’s phone occasionally plays sounds at full volume. In addition to online videos, it also plays what sounds like pornographic videos.
On the surface, he chats with you and shows concern for you, but in reality, he is fishing for information, embellishing it, and spreading false rumors. Once he has finished spreading the rumors, he stops pretending and openly begins isolating you.
(2) Workload
The company gives employees a heavy workload: routine administrative work, graphic design work involving image editing and material production, daily customer service responses, planning marketing campaigns, warehouse work, and even, without offering a pay raise, requiring employees to take on the workload of sales staff.
(3) Systems
The company’s systems are extremely inadequate. It develops products without first conducting market research or defining a target audience. The boss arbitrarily developed a backpack and asked employees to sell it; when sales were poor, he would only question employees: “Where is the problem?”
Summary:
The company is like a headless fly, with authority overriding expertise.
Applicants considering interviewing with this company should think carefully.
I honestly can't think of any pros. 0
The boss has countless faults, and the manager is essentially someone who enables the boss.
Currently, the office has a total of three people (the manager, the boss, and one employee).
Previously, when the company was recruiting on PTT, a user replied: “Why is this company always hiring?”
The manager responded that it was because two departments had been added at once, so they were always short-staffed.
In fact, the company does not have separate departments at all. They keep hiring because employees are constantly quitting.
The boss is unprofessional and does not understand or respect professional expertise. All day long, he only thinks about taking advantage of vendors or employees.
He often throws out proposals that leave everyone speechless, yet insists on carrying them out. When the results are poor, he blames the employees.
The boss has an immature, adolescent mentality and likes to create divisions. For example, he tells employee A that he wants to fire employee B, then goes to employee B and says he wants to fire employee A.
The boss is extremely stingy. He even tells employees to take the rice cooker to the building’s pantry and use the building’s electric steam cooker to heat rice.
The office does not provide toilet paper; even stationery has to be shared among everyone, with only one correction tape for the entire office.
Employees are not allowed to eat breakfast at work, but the boss can bring noodles to the office and slurp them extremely loudly.
Employees are not allowed to listen to music at work, but the boss can watch videos and laugh with a sound resembling a pig’s squeal.
The boss sells defective, scrapped products to customers.
He insists on not throwing away soccer shoes that have been out of season for a very long time, and sells them to customers for NT$200 a pair.
Many customers come back to report that the shoes fall apart as soon as they put them on.
The boss only hides and tells employees to deal with it. His solution is to replace them with another pair of NT$200 soccer shoes.
He also gives this kind of footwear to film crews when sponsoring microfilms. The crews come back and say the shoes fell apart as soon as the actors kicked a ball.
The boss hides in the restroom and tells employees to replace the film crew’s shoes with another batch of NT$200 soccer shoes.
The boss’s habit is lying.
During interviews, he tells you that the job consists of a base salary plus group bonuses, and that you can basically earn NT$32,000.
In reality, after receiving the bonus, you generally do not earn more than NT$30,000, because the bonus is usually only a few hundred dollars.
He will also suddenly deduct various allowances from your base salary, claiming that allowances are benefits provided by the company and can be withdrawn at any time.
He also tells employees to come to work on holidays—otherwise, they can get lost.
By the way, the boss particularly likes to pocket the bonuses of employees who have resigned.
He even gets basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division wrong when calculating the base salary.
The manager turns a blind eye to all of this.
He even tells employees that this is a traditional company, and that if they cannot adapt, perhaps they are simply not suited to the place.
Regarding customer complaints that the NT$200 soccer shoes fall apart as soon as they are worn, the manager has even said things like, “I hope they live far away so they won’t come back to exchange them.”
Finally, the most outrageous incident: the boss is not only terrible but also disgusting!!!!!!
He watches porn in the office during working hours!!!!!
I’m really not making this up. At least four people have heard moaning from the videos he was watching.
Moreover, in a screenshot the boss sent to an employee, it happened to show that he had 3–4 tabs open watching porn!
I strongly advise everyone not to join this company and humiliate yourself.
Especially fresh graduates: do not think that because you cannot find a job, you should put up with working at a company like this.
It is truly terrifying and disgusting!!!!!!!!
