Pros

If you have not been employed for a full year, you still receive a prorated year-end bonus. Basically, none of the colleagues have bad intentions. There is also a monthly birthday celebration, employee trips, and while there is no year-end banquet, there is a spring banquet.

Cons

The drawbacks are largely the same as those described in a review from two years ago:

1. The company drives out the good with the bad. The business supervisor manages two major departments but has no real professional expertise. Moreover, they do not care about the departments’ development. They spend almost all their time by the boss’s wife’s side, pretending to be very professional, and then shift the blame when something happens.

2. There is little possibility of promotion because the company is essentially a semi-family business.

3. The company does not respect professional expertise. They love using AI to generate images, and even after receiving professional advice, they do not accept it and only trust AI.

4. They like to complicate simple matters. They often ask colleagues to vote and submit proposals in group chats, but many of these efforts ultimately go nowhere or even have to be redone.

5. Meetings are inefficient. There are many routine meetings, and even when the same things have already been discussed, the supervisor seems to have lost their memory and keeps asking about them repeatedly.

6. They can create a group for anything, yet they do not pay attention to the key points in messages. It is just as inefficient as the meetings.

7. They often say there is room for communication, but in practice the opposite is true.

8. In terms of work performance, people from outside certain fields are doing the work of professionals, and the way they speak is hollow and vague.

9. Ninety percent of the employees have been with the company for less than two years.

10. If you are someone with ideas, you should not mind coming to this company—just as mentioned above, the supervisor is a complete outsider, yet loves to put on airs.

11. The so-called manager loves to make empty promises. When trying to please you, they say, “Yes, yes, that’s fine,” but when problems arise, they blame everything on “company policy” or whatever.

12. The so-called manager says that it is good for colleagues to have close relationships, but in reality, they act in the opposite way. Even being too close can lead to criticism for being cliquish.

Pros

The lobby on the first floor is very grand.

Cons

They treat a five-day workweek and Labor and Health Insurance as benefits.

How good do you think a company like this can be?

Those things mentioned above are still mandated by the government.

Pros

None. The commute is also extremely inconvenient; the area around the company is basically wasteland.

Cons

1. The company violates the Labor Standards Act. When you work overtime on weekends, they will tell you to take compensatory leave on a 1:1 basis, but in fact weekend overtime should be paid at 1.33 times the regular wage. In addition to compensatory leave, they should also provide overtime pay. If you aren't afraid of being shortchanged, feel free to apply.

2. The company violates the Labor Standards Act. When you are late, they deduct not only your pay for the late period but also your perfect-attendance bonus (the perfect-attendance bonus is not additional pay; it is included in your basic salary). I have checked the Labor Standards Act, which stipulates that lateness cannot result in an additional deduction through the perfect-attendance bonus. If you aren't afraid of having money deducted arbitrarily, feel free to apply.

3. The boss's wife has the mindset of a typical exploitative employer. She likes employees to work overtime and handle matters on holidays. If an employee is actually taking a holiday, she gets unhappy. If you like devoting all your holidays to work, feel free to apply.

4. The entire company drives out the good and keeps the bad. The business department manager oversees multiple departments and treats herself like a chief operating officer, but in reality, her main experience is years of currying favor upward as a department-store sales clerk (the boss's wife really falls for this). She also badmouths employees' private lives behind their backs. Everyone in the company knows she has no professional expertise but is very good at currying favor and going out to eat with the boss's wife. If you are willing to be bossed around by someone unprofessional, feel free to apply.

5. The company environment is very cramped. The men's and women's restrooms are shared, which is extremely awkward, and you often have to hold your urine. If you think you have a very strong bladder, feel free to apply.

6. Once you go there, ask everyone how long they have worked there. You will find that, apart from those who curry favor with their supervisors, everyone else has been there less than six months or a year. Then you will understand why everyone knows they should escape. Capable people do not stay, but if you think you are extremely incapable, feel free to apply.

7. The boss is extremely stingy with employees. Employees have to take turns serving as the duty person, scrubbing toilets and taking out the trash. They basically treat employees like servants. I have encountered coworkers who stayed late to sort the trash and scrub the toilets without even applying for overtime pay. If you think you are sufficiently servile, feel free to apply.

8. If you can accept all of the above shortcomings, are sufficiently servile, and are desperately short of money, you can go.
