Read the community guidelinesThe colleagues are very nice and willing to help newcomers. You can ask questions whenever you have them. There are lots of activities, and the environment is pretty good. It’s just tiring having to clean the restrooms and handle recycling.
The project schedules are extremely tight—so tight that you almost have to work overtime every day to finish (it’s a responsibility-based system). Stay for a while and take a look at how the veterans live, and you’ll understand. The managers are very fond of emotional manipulation, believing that you should devote everything to work just as they do. It’s a company that trains you to be submissive. Here, if you think it’s normal not to work overtime, you’ll be treated like a weirdo! They’ll even try to indoctrinate you. But you really can learn things here—it depends on whether you can accept it.
The boss and director are very nice (the boss is not often at the company), and they are willing to teach new employees properly when they first join.
The planning position (or, more accurately, planning combined with sales and customer service) involves a lot of miscellaneous tasks.
Because most clients are in the hospitality industry, you may still have to spend time helping guests solve problems on holidays, making it impossible to take proper time off.
The planning supervisor receives mixed reviews: you could say he is enthusiastic about his work, or you could say he expects his subordinates to be workaholics like him.
Designers may be assigned to several projects at the same time, but as long as they deliver projects on time,
they will not interfere much with your work. You can even listen to music while working. People who enjoy design and can accept client revisions may want to consider this position.
Unlike some companies that require you to handle customer service and miscellaneous tasks in addition to design (because the planning staff handle the miscellaneous work), you can focus purely on design.
The company is willing to give opportunities to fresh graduates who lack experience but are willing to learn.
