But later, because the company stopped working with a major manufacturer, it was replaced by this lousy company, 淳靖藥品, as the agent, and I ended up at this dump. At 淳靖, there was no overtime pay at all. It was only after we negotiated with the boss for a very long time!! that he finally agreed to pay overtime!! But what he paid!! was extremely little!! As the saying goes, other people’s children don’t count as children: Boss 龔ＸＸ sends his own children overseas to study, and was even willing to spend money training his own niece when she came to work at 淳靖, while we merely work hard to make a living and ask for overtime pay, yet it is deducted here and there!

聚心 Co., Ltd. is simply a market he wanted to enter in the field of medical information. He did not dare or want to invest his own money, so he asked a supervisor he had previously met outside the company (Boss 黃) to put up the money. The software-engineer brothers at 聚心 are also pitiful. According to what they said, during interviews, 莊X立—the person who calls himself the boss—claimed that there would be project bonuses, but in reality there are none, and they also work overtime every day. Moreover, because 莊X立 is from southern Taiwan and travels to Taipei on business, when visiting clients he insists on staying at company employees’ residences.

There are no advantages whatsoever. I was tricked into joining because I had not yet graduated from university and was preparing to look for a job. I was simply deceived into coming here—that’s all there is to it.

At the beginning of the interview, they told you that the company’s salaries were based on the standards in northern Taiwan. But what happened? During my probation period, after deductions for labor and health insurance, I received less than NT$22,000. After the probation period, they said my salary would be adjusted, but it never was. Even more outrageous, from the time I reported for work and started working until March this year, I did not officially report to the head office (incidentally, after joining the company “Chun Jing,” you will discover that the company’s name is actually “Juxin,” and the company is located in Kaohsiung). In other words, I started work in January, but they did not enroll me in labor and health insurance until March. After joining the company, I worked on web development, but later found out that Juxin’s self-proclaimed “teachers,” who did not understand technology, privately took on website projects and then hired me, a recent graduate with little experience, because I was easy to deceive, to do this work. I had to work overtime constantly on holidays and also go to customers’ locations. The main point is that they would constantly set traps for you to fall into. For example, they would say that a certain function would not take a day to complete, so it could quickly be delivered to the client. Juxin claimed to work on medical electronic records and medical digitization, but in reality, the quality of its work was terrible. Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital in Kaohsiung is one example: they collected the money first but did not deliver what the hospital needed, continually dragging things out. It would be bad enough if they simply could not complete the work, but they also kept taking on projects from other hospitals and deceiving them to get money. Before I left, former colleagues told me that the projects for Taipei Medical University’s Shuang Ho Hospital and Wan Fang Hospital had still not been completed, yet they were already taking on projects from other hospitals. This boss also has some impressive past deeds—the Ministry of Justice website has his criminal judgment records available for anyone to find. Everything above is true. Please don’t be deceived.
