Basically, it’s a service-industry job, and the subservience throughout the company—from top to bottom—is frightening. The company endlessly spoils customers while refusing to face the problem, so over time it has cultivated a bunch of monstrous customers. The pay is very low, and it’s broken down into many small components, meaning eight hours of overtime on a Saturday comes to roughly 1,000. Tools and transportation wear out extremely quickly. Overtime is announced at the last minute, and business trips are announced at the last minute. It feels as if you were born solely to live for the company and aren’t allowed to have a life of your own. Policies can be different in the morning and at noon. All I can say is: unless you’re truly desperate, don’t come here—or rather, even if you are desperate, don’t come here.

1. Regarding salary, it is roughly divided into 60% base salary + 40% bonuses. This means that some bonuses fluctuate; for example, the meal allowance is deducted when taking personal leave, and it is also deducted proportionally for incomplete months.
2. One day of overtime on a day off is paid at 12xx. How this amount is calculated remains a mystery; it appears to be calculated using only the base salary.
3. For overtime on regular workdays, the time is said to include a 30-minute meal break. You have to work beyond that and complete a full hour for it to count as overtime—in other words, you need to work an extra hour and a half before it counts as overtime. Whether you can simply put down your work, go eat, and come back to continue working is another matter.

A maintenance service worker for a certain district of this company
Job duties:
1. Responsible for repairing DongX (X dollars) commercial air-conditioning units in Yunlin County and Chiayi County and City.

Thoughts:
The salary listed on 104 was NT$30,000–35,000, but after the interview they said that because you lacked experience, the starting salary would be NT$24,000.
Damn, this is an outsourced maintenance job, yet the salary is still set so low. The worst part is that there is no company vehicle, so you have to pay for fuel upfront and drive your own car. The company's fuel subsidy is only NT$4,000–5,000, but you have to travel throughout Chiayi County and City or all of Yunlin County. After returning to the company, you still have to do some paperwork.
