Pros

None

Cons

During the interview, they said they were short-staffed and told me to submit my information as soon as possible.

After I submitted it, they told me to wait. Then, after I found another job,

they called again and asked me to start work. I had just started that job less than a month earlier. When I asked whether there really was a position, they said it was confirmed.

Then, just one day before I was supposed to report for work, they said there was no position after all.

They’re really assholes.

Pros

You’re less likely to get rained on.

Cons

There are a lot of rules inside. If they’re short-staffed, you often have to work overtime, exceeding the hours permitted under labor laws. I worked one to two weeks without a day off. The person directing the lifting operations complains a lot—clearly because they didn’t give the hand signals properly—and doesn’t understand that the crane operator has blind spots, since the control room cannot be moved and some areas cannot be seen. Yet they still yell at the operator below. In summary: Use your own judgment.

Pros

Scammer company

Cons

For the first one or two weeks, new employees ride along for training and receive absolutely no pay. The company benefits listed on 1111 Job Bank are all lies: there are no two-day weekends, no meals provided, and they are extremely prone to deducting drivers’ wages. If vehicle parts break, the driver is charged as well. There is a supervisor named Yang × Bin and × Guo ×, who seem to think they can insult people just because they have worked there for a long time. The on-site managers, Zhang × Cheng and × Yong ×, lie about everything they say. If you resign without completing a full month—meaning from the 20th of one month to the 20th of the following month—they deduct NT$1,000 per day directly from your base salary. This really is a scam company. It is protected by China Steel, so reporting it to the Labor Bureau is useless. Terrible company.

Pros

None at all

Cons

A very deceptive company. It is a contractor for China Steel. On the surface, it says there are two days off per week, but it also says that employees must come out to work whenever there is nothing else to do. You may end up with no days off at all for an entire month, and often work more than 12 hours a day. The company says in its listed benefits that meals are provided, but the two-day weekend is completely false. The claim of a monthly salary of NT$45,000 is also completely deceptive. If the connected vehicle breaks down or a part fails, the driver’s pay will be deducted. Do not be deceived. The on-site person in charge is 張X承, and there is also a supervisor named 楊X賓. They are extremely likely to bully and toy with new employees. Do not work for this company—it is highly deceptive.
