Pros

Clocking in and out on time

Mostly free to use your own initiative

Cons

It's simply a company that lacks management. It's one thing one moment and another the next, entirely depending on the boss's mood. Useless suck-ups are highly favored in this company.

Pros

Can clock out on time

Cons

Payslips are not provided

Everything discussed in the interview sounded fine and positive, but the reality after joining was very different

The company’s policies are opaque—there is essentially no system. The boss and the boss’s wife are the system, and different employees are held to different standards

The company handbook clearly states that holiday gift boxes are provided for the three major festivals, but they were not distributed. Supervisors had to ask for them before they were finally given out, and afterward colleagues were still mocked and made sarcastic remarks about them

Annual leave was not provided in accordance with the Labor Standards Act. Employees who raised the issue with the company or applied for leave were even targeted. Does the company think its employees are fools? (Only after employees protested was it changed to comply with the Labor Standards Act.)

The boss’s communication is always unclear and extremely poor. He likes to say one thing and do another

Many tasks are outside employees’ official duties, yet the company treats it as perfectly reasonable to demand that they do them

Employees who request leave are made things difficult for, retaliated against later, and deliberately targeted by the company

They constantly try to get employees to do things for free and want to add everything on as a “by the way.” They do not want to spend any money, yet expect employees to find ways to get everything done. They just keep pushing tasks onto employees and telling them to figure it out themselves

The boss’s wife is useless and incompetent, yet still wants to control everything. When problems arise, she simply dumps them on others and cannot handle them

I have never seen bosses with so little foresight. The boss and his wife spend all day taking credit, only think about how hard they work, and assume that employees’ tasks are very simple. They often say, “Just fiddle with it a bit and it’ll be fine.”
