Read the community guidelinesThe work environment feels free.
There was no news after the interview.
After I emailed to ask, they said they would notify me of the result in two weeks, but there was never any follow-up. It felt extremely disrespectful.
FunNow (Shokaku Co., Ltd.) The app that understands life best / real-time reservations for urban entertainment. It has received countless investments and is often featured in magazines. It looks like a young startup with many ideals; people communicate well, the atmosphere is lively, the organization is flat, and it has an open office.
1. No-response card: The FunNow interview process lasted a full month, but the result was still no response. You need to follow up proactively.
2. Venue: The FunNow interview process was repeatedly interrupted, and we changed meeting rooms several times.
3. Position: They opened the position but were not in a hurry to hire. The manager did not seem to be in the office often.
Pretty peaceful, I guess~ The environment seems quite suitable for FEs or designers.
There were three people in the interview. Basically, I felt the capabilities were about on par with those of junior engineers.
They asked quite a lot about how things are implemented technically. It felt less like an interview and more like they wanted to solve their existing problems.
I never received a response, even though they specifically said before I left that they would notify me, so the experience was particularly bad.
The team is quite large, and the division of labor seems fairly detailed.

Soundproof card +1
The interview process was pretty good overall.
But it’s still the same problem even now: being ghosted!
Even after writing to ask about it, I didn’t get any response at all. It’s very disrespectful... My impression has completely changed for the worse.
Actually, the managers are all quite easy to talk to, and the atmosphere during the interview was relaxed and pleasant.
The interview included a graphic logic test, which was moderately to relatively challenging.
I received an interview invitation the day after submitting my résumé. During the first interview, they said they would notify me of the result in about two weeks. However, nearly three weeks later, they said I should come back for another interview after the Lunar New Year. After the New Year, I had a second interview, and they again said they would notify me of the result in about one or two weeks. In the end, there was complete silence—they never responded at all, even after I emailed HR or the manager.
If it had simply been a silent rejection, I could have let it go, but I emailed to follow up and still received no response. They showed absolutely no respect for the interviewee. Although this seems like a pretty good company, I really cannot agree with how this was handled. I know startups really need good talent, but when all the reviews on Tianyancha say that candidates are consistently left without any response, I think it will be difficult for you to find good talent too.
The office environment is okay, and it’s very close to the MRT station.
They didn’t ask many technical questions during the interview; it was mostly just chatting, so it wasn’t very discerning. They also give out silent rejections. After the interview, they asked how long I could wait, and I said within two weeks. Two weeks passed without any response. I called to ask, and they said they would follow up for me, but I still never received any notification. A very disrespectful company.
The atmosphere feels very free, there are quite a lot of young people in the company, and the office is conveniently located.
It sounds like a lot of things have to be started from scratch, with few systems or regulations in place. To put it nicely, you can decide for yourself how to establish the systems and play God, but in reality, it is probably just the chaos typical of various startups.
The salary and benefits are not competitive. If you want to attract experienced talent, you shouldn’t offer only peanuts.
This product is the popular funNow App.
When going to the interview, be careful not to go to the wrong place. The company used to be on Zhongshan North Road, but has now moved to near Nanjing Fuxing Station.
Transportation is really convenient: there is an MRT station right next to it, plenty of bus stops, and it is in a prime location.
Just like a startup, the team has a free-spirited culture, and the atmosphere is really quite good.
During the interview, I was even asked whether I wanted to have a little drink. Hahaha XDD
Actually, I’m quite bothered by being given the “silent treatment.” I really didn’t expect such a great company not to send a notification unless the applicant emailed to ask about it. Isn’t giving an appropriate response after an interview the most basic thing to do?
Also, they asked about my expected offer during the first interview, and before the interview I had to take a graphical logic test published in the UK (?)
