Pros

If air conditioning counts as a benefit, then that’s one.

Cons

1. It’s a one-man show—the boss has the final say. The boss’s OCD is so bad that they even get angry when a chair isn’t pushed in.

2. The company is divided into just two factions: the boss and everyone else.

3. They present distributors’ original products as their own and almost got sued by the original manufacturer. All of their past experience is made up, they have zero market experience, the boss has zero magnanimity, is incredibly petty and narrow-minded, and their decisions are not even as good as those of basic sales staff.

4. It’s extremely difficult for sales staff to earn bonuses. The good accounts are all taken by the sales managers, who happily collect million-dollar annual salaries. The whole company hires people just to be managers’ assistants. They only have to talk to look impressive, assign tasks without any logic, and lack the ability to turn projects into concrete numbers.

5. Sales staff (who can’t get bonuses), as well as technical staff and PMs, are not needed either, because you’re just there to run errands for the manager and won’t receive the project bonuses.

6. The company is constantly raising funds but is not actually making money. Most employees have been there for less than two years, and turnover is extremely high—the main reason is the boss.

Pros

The interviewer was the Chief Information Officer, and seemed like a nice person.

Cons

1. Although the localization algorithm engineer position is divided into full-time and internship roles, the work seems to be pretty much the same, and the internship position also seems to be posted just on the off chance that someone applies.

2. It seems they prefer to hire someone who already has experience or knows this technology, and there is no sense that they need you to stay with the company long term.
