Be mindful of the risk of organizational changes in a startup
Very low-key. There is no separately partitioned office; the space is shared with other companies that appear to have been started by the same owner.
There is no separately partitioned office; the space is shared with other companies that appear to have been started by the same owner. The actual environment differs considerably from the impression conveyed by the photos on 104. It has the atmosphere typical of a traditional-industry office. When I first walked in, I thought I had gone to the wrong place.
It took the other party some time to reply and confirm the interview time after the email was sent. When I called HR to ask about the progress, no one often answered the phone. On the day of the interview, I also did not meet the HR contact listed in the email; instead, I was received by staff from another office. I only learned later that HR had unexpectedly been working from home that day...
During the interview, it was obvious that the interviewer had not reviewed the résumé I had sent in advance. The interviewer was dressed sloppily. Knowing this, it would have been better to discuss things directly over the phone or conduct a video interview instead.
I felt that attending this company’s interview in person was a waste of everyone’s time.
All in all, from the initial contact with HR to the in-person interview, this company gave me the impression that it did not respect people.
