漢育工業股份有限公司
Pros

United in hostility toward a common enemy

Cons

Regarding the environment: To save on electricity costs, the air conditioning is not turned on even when the office temperature reaches as high as 34°C. Since there are no curtains, the office is severely exposed to sunlight, so cardboard has to be taped over the glass. In addition, the factory does not have electric fans either. Anyone who wants to come here for an ascetic experience is welcome to give it a try.

Regarding personnel matters: As described below, the junior boss's leadership style involves banging on desks and chairs and shouting loudly. Believing that things are always better abroad, the boss thinks their own employees are completely useless and will ask you, “So what exactly have you been busy with?” without considering the company's systems and procedures. The number of employees has been cut in half since 2016. The year-end bonus is no more than one month’s salary, and there are no salary increases. Raises are only offered when someone is about to resign.

Every word stated above is true.

Cons

Overtime is mandatory with no additional pay, there is no year-end bonus, no bonuses for the three major holidays, and leave depends on the small boss’s mood. When there are many orders, office staff are transferred to production; when there are few orders, employees are placed on unpaid leave, and when there are even fewer orders, people are simply laid off. After maternity leave, employees are directly transferred from positions in Lukang to Taichung, forcing them to resign voluntarily to save on severance pay. The (small) boss is stubborn and self-opinionated; this is definitely a company that does not consider its employees. In addition to the aforementioned shortcomings, nearly half of the employees have already left since 2018, and the company’s operations have gone downhill. I advise anyone considering joining to think twice.
