Pros

Just like the reply below, I guess ^^ You don’t have to see him every day; sometimes he disappears after only half a day.

But if he stays at the company all day, it’s really nothing but trouble—and enough to drive you crazy.

As long as the supervisor takes leave too, with no one keeping an eye on things, you can really start enjoying yourself.

Cons

A typical exploitative boss—his willfulness, irrationality, and unreasonable behavior are amplified threefold. He thinks everyone is out to get him and wants his money.

He’s extremely good at playing dumb and being forgetful. Even when things are right in front of him, he’ll just say, “I’m busy, I don’t have time,” as an excuse, and then go on to lecture you about how things aren’t being done completely.

Stingy, self-important, and always looking for a bargain. Other people’s expertise doesn’t count as expertise to him. He is so penny-pinching that he loves buying cheap items on Taobao and Shopee, only to spend even more money unnecessarily afterward. He even buys the materials for renovations, electrical work, and plumbing himself and has others install them.

He’ll also take advantage of someone being absent to complain about them to other coworkers. As if everyone didn’t already know what he’s like—it’s honestly hilarious.

He absolutely hates it when people don’t understand what he’s saying. If you don’t quite understand what he means, he’ll look at you with a hugely self-important, disdainful expression, as if you’re incredibly stupid ^^ He’s unbelievably disrespectful in that regard—it’s infuriating.

If you offer even a mildly differing opinion, he’ll roll his eyes at you and then say things like, “You just don’t understand,” which is incredibly irritating. I might as well tilt my head and flash a bright smile.

He lectures you endlessly until you roll your eyes. He can repeat the same sentence around five or six times. If you happen to overlook some minor detail—something that clearly doesn’t even matter—he’ll keep nagging about it relentlessly. I’m really not exaggerating; it’s absolutely ridiculous and incredibly annoying.

Don’t expect any employee benefits at all—there aren’t any. He even says that people who do technical work don’t leave on time. Like, hello? Are employees slaves? ^^

Anyway, seriously, don’t come here. In summer, you get scorched by the sun, and even the air conditioning isn’t cool. That tells you just how stingy he is....

The boss is often absent; there is no supervisor in the company, so once you join, you’re basically the manager (lol

Cons

The boss is often absent. Yes!! After I had been there for just one week, he let me go and told me to use my own initiative.

The position advertised was engineer, with a salary of 32K. The work is extremely challenging; feel free to give it a try.

Aside from the foreign employees, the most senior employee is the accountant, with one year of experience. You read that right—a company that has been around for more than 20 years.

No one teaches you how to do the work (there really is no “one”); the boss only tells you to ask former employees how to do it. Why would former employees bother helping you?

The WeChat group keeps buzzing after work, and even in the middle of the night I get messages in the group. Ding, ding, ding, nonstop.

If you are highly capable, have experience in environmental impact assessment–related work, possess planning skills, and have excellent stress tolerance, I believe you will be able to handle the job.

If you want a truly shocking educational experience, you can come and give it a try.

I resigned at the same time as the secretary who started on the same day. I won’t elaborate further on what the others have already said.

(There’s more, but I’ve already been very restrained.)

Pros

None

Cons

The chairman’s secretary sometimes has to be on call even on Saturdays and Sundays, but is paid only 24,000. Without the supervisor’s approval, there’s no way to claim overtime pay. You don’t get paid for any overtime because there’s no time clock, so there’s no basis for claiming it. Luckily~~I left.

Pros

The boss is often not at the company, so you don't have to see his face.

Cons

He's stingy. When employees make mistakes, he randomly fines them. When new hires start, he doesn't arrange labor and health insurance right away. Even with the salary that was promised, he'll still try to shortchange you, turning part of it into a perfect-attendance bonus, and acts as if that's perfectly normal. After working there for over two years, I really felt like I'd been a fool. At least I'm finally free.

Pros

Pros~~The only advantage is that as long as you are willing to do the work, you can stay—provided that you can endure staying.

Cons

Everything you can imagine from a lousy exploitative boss is here: poor pay, pressuring you to work overtime (without paying overtime), high company profits but none of it is shared with you, and the year-end bonus is capped at one month’s salary.

Pros

You can learn a great many things, because as long as you don't object, you'll be loaded with all sorts of tasks.

Cons

There is no overtime pay on weekdays. The responsibilities are very miscellaneous, the boss is extremely stingy, and the salary is ridiculously low. As long as you can do something, they will keep piling work onto you, so they can hire fewer people. There aren't many employees in the company. As soon as you join, they tell you that you have to sign a one-year contract. The boss also doesn't respect professional expertise, thinking that everyone else's work is easy and that only what they know how to do is professional. Otherwise, you have to pay a month's salary as compensation. Please, don't let anyone else join. The heartfelt words of a former employee~~
