Pros

The HR staff were courteous and reasonably professional, which was a positive. On the first day, they provided and explained company-related documents (calendar, evacuation facilities and groups, new employee handbook, etc.), making the company appear fairly well organized.

Cons

#FreshGraduate #InterviewExperience

The surname-initialed manager from the Production Management Department may be a typical old-school person. When trying to get to know someone, instead of asking for a self-introduction, he kept asking what their strengths and weaknesses were, then asked whatever came to mind. Managers at other companies can review a résumé, raise many questions, and discuss them, but this manager seemed to think that fresh graduates are blank slates and that there was nothing much to ask. If you did not follow his approach, he would lecture you (e.g., there was a section on the application form that I considered private and therefore left blank; in addition to asking me about it directly, the manager said that everything on the form had to be filled in :)). He would burst out laughing when he heard answers that did not align with his own views. He would even joke about the job applicant and then apologize. When passing colleagues came by, he would get distracted greeting and chatting with them, leaving the applicant waiting. I was already dumbfounded that, due to epidemic-prevention measures, the interview was being held outdoors in an open area, and then this happened too. During salary discussions, he also showed no intention of having a serious discussion and instead went on at length about grand principles. It was truly an utterly bizarre interview experience. With a manager who shows this kind of disrespect, either wait until he retires or run for it :))))

Pros

A company that complies with the Labor Standards Act and pays salaries on time.

Cons

What was said in the interview is very different from reality. The head of the design department is a control freak, and their tone makes you feel as though you owe them a lot of money.

They promised that there would be a salary adjustment after you joined, but it never happened. The supervisor has a very bad temper, so be careful not to offend them; otherwise, you will either be frozen out or hounded until you resign. The turnover rate is extremely high—staying for half a year is already considered impressive. About 70% of people do not make it past six months. If you can tolerate a bipolar supervisor who keeps clicking a pen, you can give it a try.

If there were an extremely poor rating, I would really want to select it.

Pros

They seem to comply with the Labor Standards Act.

Cons

During the interview, they seemed to be intentionally or unintentionally probing for trade secrets from the applicant’s former company. Applicants who have signed relevant confidentiality agreements should pay particular attention to how they answer. One interviewer was quite arrogant and disrespectful toward the applicant during the process: they asked the applicant to share their experience, then dismissed it as worthless while giving unsolicited “指教.” Applicants hoping to apply their past experience and skills in a new workplace are advised not to waste their time attending this interview!!
