1. The employment contract specifies a monthly salary, but accounting records it as a daily wage. Whenever a holiday falls on a date marked in red, only half pay (base salary) is provided, causing the regular monthly salary component—which should be a fixed amount—to fluctuate in the monthly salary statement.
2. The company's regulations conflict with the current Labor Standards Act.
For example, the eligibility requirements and number of days for annual leave; annual leave is paid at only half pay (base salary), not full pay; taking annual leave requires special circumstances and supporting documentation; when resigning mid-year, the number of annual leave days must be prorated based on the number of months employed, and taking more leave than the prorated amount results in a deduction (this is completely illegal—the statutory number of annual leave days for the year is fixed, and the same number of days applies even when resigning mid-year).
The number of maternity leave days also conflicts with the Labor Standards Act, and maternity leave is paid at only half pay (base salary).
Bereavement leave is paid at only half pay (base salary).
