Pros

One advantage is that the atmosphere isn’t too serious.

Cons

At first, I was interviewed by a female supervisor.

She was very nice and explained the job duties.

As soon as the boss came in, he started showing off.

You’re very capable, no doubt,

but you asked me about my life goals

and then lectured me based on your own beliefs,

trying to make me agree with your views.

When I refused, your attitude became increasingly rude.

As for the salary,

I said my expected salary was 32K, and he said that wasn’t possible, then asked what my minimum was.

I said 30K, and I don’t know what was wrong with him,

but he jokingly said, “So you’re saying that if it’s not 30K, you won’t work here, huh?”

??????????????????

I didn’t want to make the situation too awkward,

so I tactfully said I would think about it.

But he forcefully insisted that I say that exact sentence,

and also said, “Anyway, when you first come in, you’re all blank slates.

Your life goals have nothing to do with your salary.

There’s no need to care about the salary.”

I still don’t know how low a salary he was actually planning to offer.

BTW, the boss loves throwing around English, but his grammar is wrong and it sounds ridiculous when he says it.

Maybe he should just speak Chinese properly ^_^

As for the salary,

I said my expected salary was 32K, but he said that wasn’t possible and asked what my minimum was.

I said 30K, and then, for some reason, he made what he thought was a funny remark: “So you just won’t work unless you get 30K, huh?”

He should just speak Chinese properly instead ^_^

Pros

None

Cons

Waited 20 minutes

Was interviewed first by someone

It was mostly standard interview questions

Then the manager conducted the interview

They said it was an American-style approach

But I felt it was just...

Although it was clearly a customer service position, there was sales-performance pressure, yet the manager said it was sales customer service???

It made it seem like I was applying for a sales position????

I explained that I currently just want a job with fixed days off because I want to improve myself by attending classes, but they seemed to keep rejecting that and repeatedly asking, THEN???

The manager kept speaking in English

They also said I had to prepare a report first, and then they would decide whether to hire me

They said this was to filter out people who weren’t committed

That way, they wouldn’t have to train them

Since they’re too lazy to train people anyway,

why do they say they don’t want to hire people with experience?

They only want blank slates

They want blank slates but then complain that they have no experience????????????????????????????????????

The manager said that many people told them they would persevere, but after joining, they all gave up.

Before hiring, they will also ask you to prepare a report, but he insisted that the report was of no help to them at all, because once you finish it, you will understand everything (then why look for blank slates! They don’t even want to train people)

He also said that new hires are basically slaves once they join!

The annual salary of a sales supervisor is only 600,000.

He said the company car was a “bnw” 🙄️

He made it sound as though the annual salary was very high.

What a joke
