During the interview, they said work started at eight, but then the bell rang at a little after seven. We had not started working early, yet eating breakfast was criticized as inefficient, and we were not allowed to leave on time either.
Lunch was not taken on time either. After 12, the bell would ring and work would start immediately. The company is basically a time thief!! The bell schedule is entirely set by the company.
The benefits sounded very attractive, but I did not think it through at first. After coming to my senses, I realized that the benefits were essentially extracted from the workers.
The supervisor is extremely unreasonable. Aside from the frontline staff comforting one another, nothing else in the company gets better—it only gets worse.
The environment is poor, the lunch is poor, and the restroom is even worse.
Suitable for newcomers to develop patience and gain experience.
My seat is incredibly strange. It's open-plan to begin with, but my seat faces the window and has its back to the other employees. There are two people in front, and the seat is so small that there's nowhere to put my feet.
The senior designers and supervisors are difficult to deal with. Discussions about finalized designs may be overturned at the last minute, yet they can't explain why changes are needed. Even after making changes according to their instructions, they'll still say that the revisions didn't add any value. If they say something is bad, you have to change it; if you think something is good, they'll reject it. So why hire experienced people at all? Wouldn't it be better to hire assistants instead?
They keep lecturing people, claiming it's to shorten the adjustment period, while creating inexplicable pressure.
Here, your self-esteem, professionalism, and experience are completely trampled on.
There are no limits to the design styles, and what they ask you to revise will not be the final result anyway.
