Read the community guidelinesLeaving work on time!
The company’s management concepts and thinking are outdated. Basically, once employees enter the office, they do not talk to one another. The company has only three computers with Internet access, so everything is restricted (when everyone needs to use the Internet for work, they have to queue up). If you arrive at the company early, the company also stipulates that you cannot eat breakfast at your desk; you have to take care of it outside before coming in. After you are hired, the boss will tell you that there is a two-month probationary period, but during those two months, Saturdays and Sundays are unpaid!
The company also hopes that employees will preferably not take short breaks during working hours. Working there is extremely tense and oppressive. The boss uses very unpleasant language when scolding people and does not go easy on you even if you are a woman. The atmosphere is often gloomy, and employee turnover is extremely high.
YouMeng is the strangest company I have ever worked for!! That is why, the first time I logged in to Job Review, I decided to share my work experience!
I hope this is helpful to everyone.
。The location is in a commercial office building. At lunchtime, there are many dining options in the surrounding area, and you can also browse stalls selling all kinds of products.
。Since work starts half an hour early, you can take a 1.5-hour lunch break.
。All employees are guaranteed to leave work on time. Regardless of the circumstances, this company does not allow overtime.
。You will encounter some well-known figures in the baking industry.
。The sales employee’s son, M, is quite capable, and you can ask him about many things. Sometimes, when the boss is being unreasonable, he will also speak up for you.
What is written above accurately describes the situation at this company. I would like to add my experience after working as a sales assistant for one year:
。The owners, a husband-and-wife couple, do things according to their moods, are stubborn and disrespectful toward others, constantly change procedures, and have completely outdated quotation logic. They do not believe in new ways of working or tools.
。From the moment the boss leaves home, takes transportation to work, and arrives until the end of the workday, he continuously watches the surveillance cameras to see what employees are doing. Any action can easily upset him and lead him to scold people.
。Only the two computers farthest away have internet access. The computer used for entering orders is not connected to the internet, so you have to repeatedly stand up and sit down to go back and forth to reply to LINE messages, look up information, and print shipping labels. This seemingly minor but pointless work is actually very time-consuming and extremely exhausting, and sales assistants almost always develop knee problems. (The air conditioning also constantly requires you to walk over to turn it on and off; anyone who has worked there will understand.)
。You need to spend your own after-work time learning various kinds of baking knowledge. Once you have learned it, there is a little surprise: the owner’s wife, who constantly scolds you for not knowing anything, is less familiar with the products than you are.
There are no particular tangible advantages.
The boss and the boss’s son have unpredictable emotional swings. They repeatedly change their instructions after assigning you tasks; even if you follow what they said, you may still be scolded for lacking judgment and not knowing how to adapt.
Several warehouse managers have come and gone. Employees are often required to do work outside their duties. Before the Lunar New Year, we were even expected to help scrub the floors. There was no red envelope when work resumed, and the Dragon Boat Festival bonus was never more than 1,000. A normal person probably couldn’t stand it for more than a month—you are constantly being nagged. There is also no overtime pay; the boss will only give you a few dumplings.
Does this company have any “pros”??
I originally didn’t believe the reviews and went to work with great enthusiasm, until I personally experienced what so-called bipolar disorder and craziness are like.
I have been here for half a year, which, compared with previous warehouse management employees, already makes me what you might call “senior.”
As far as I know, regardless of the position, during the interview here they will describe everything to you as beautiful, wonderful, and full of development opportunities.
In reality, about half a month after you start working, they begin criticizing you every day, saying you are worthless and have no competitiveness, and that you would be the same wherever you went.
No matter what you do at work, they say you did it wrong; whatever they ask you to do, you have to ask questions.
Then you get scolded for asking, being told you have no judgment at all. After a while, they use this as an excuse to stop giving raises.
They criticize you every day, driving employees to become passive in their work, resulting in an extremely high turnover rate.
Whenever one person leaves, the next person immediately comes in for an interview. (I estimate you could even interview here naked and still get hired.)
During your first week, they tell you that you are doing a great job, then start relentlessly criticizing the previous veteran employee.
Once the newcomer gets up to speed, they dismiss the previous employee and have the newcomer train the next newcomer. The handovers are never complete.
This script has already played out at least twice. (Aren’t they basically just trying to save on year-end bonuses?)
Now, regarding XX-niang:
She is just a talking vase, always conveying correct information incorrectly, causing the boss to seriously misunderstand you.
Once you become the target of a stereotype, she keeps scolding you based on her incorrect understanding.
She constantly interrupts while the assistant is on the phone—a control freak.
She expects you to remember everything while remembering nothing herself, and keeps saying how capable the previous office ladies and warehouse staff were.
I really want to ask: if they were so capable, why did they leave??? It makes no sense.
When you explain things to her, she considers it an excuse or argument. Employees’ correct actions can all be relayed as wrong, while everything XX-niang does wrong is always considered right.
Constantly changing orders—this is especially noticeable. Anyone who wants to challenge this place should prepare a voice recorder, record everything the boss tells you to do, and listen afterward to how he scolds you once you have finished it.
There are only a few people in the company, yet they make every colleague treat one another as if facing an enemy. You cannot become too friendly with anyone.
They constantly create severe divisions, making the atmosphere at work so oppressive it is suffocating. There is absolutely no room for casual conversation with colleagues.
There are too many stories to tell here. In short, ten thousand good deeds only require one mouthful of praise; make one mistake, and you are branded as bad.
If you want to know more, feel free to ask directly.
Update: During these six months, five office ladies have been replaced, and four warehouse staff members have been replaced.
Update: No red envelopes for Chinese New Year, and only an X-hundred-dollar Dragon Boat Festival gift/payment.

Punctual working hours
The bosses have severe bipolar disorder. On my first day at work, they spent all 8 hours yelling at people. They clearly hadn't taught me anything, yet said I wasn't paying attention at work. I had only been there for 3 days—it was completely crazy. The company has a high employee turnover rate and no experienced staff. Although the starting salary is high, I really don't recommend working there.
