Online, they use this company’s name, but it actually has another name as well. I only found out after being hired that it was a matchmaking agency. There were two interviews. During the first, the interviewer just kept talking and talking, introducing what the company does and so on. I had to fill out the company’s résumé form and take a personality test. Then, during the second interview, they asked me to participate in an event—just participate, nothing more. To be honest, since I was a woman, they asked me to make up the numbers. Most of the attendees were basically socially awkward men. Then they said I was hired. On the first day, they kept talking about the company’s achievements and so on, and only afterward told us that we were supposed to go on dating apps to chat with socially awkward men, get them to come to the company to participate in events, and collect an annual fee of what seemed to be around NT$45,000. Later, I felt that this was too deceptive, so I quickly left.

The actual job duties were completely different from what was posted online, and I felt deceived.

Pros

The interviewer was very talkative and had a good sense of humor.

Cons

I only realized after reading the reviews that it was a matchmaking agency. I felt deceived. The job responsibilities were described very vaguely—put nicely, they said they organized events for companies and created opportunities for people who wanted to make friends but were shy, and so on. Why not just say directly that you are a matchmaking agency? That would have saved so much time.

After the interview, they first asked me to attend an event, saying it was to observe which department I would be suited for. One time wasn’t enough—they asked me to attend twice. They also never proactively notified me afterward. I thought it was terrible and strongly do not recommend this company.

Pros

None at all. Does listening to the interviewer brag about their life count?

Cons

First, this is a company that lies to people and is very insincere. Even though they had not officially hired me, they insisted that I attend their so-called onboarding information session. It was only near the end that they told us they would hire only three people, making all the earlier onboarding notices meaningless.

Second, this is what a friend who went to work there told me: it is a very insincere company, completely different from what they initially said.

So if you are planning to work or interview here, please abandon the idea as soon as possible. They make it sound like you are applying for an assistant event planner position, but to put it bluntly, they just want you there to fill out the crowd—and if you are not attractive enough, they want you gone.

Pros

The workplace is very bright and doesn’t make you feel uneasy. The interviewer was very friendly and explained the job responsibilities clearly. The interviewer answered all my questions.

The pre-employment personality questionnaire can help you clearly understand what you want when changing careers.

The way the activities are conducted is very unique; it’s not like the matchmaking agencies people typically imagine.

A very personable company. The manager is easy to get along with.

Cons

You really need to gain an understanding before you can clearly know the importance of each step in the work process. For people without relevant experience, it really takes some effort to understand.

The office air conditioning is very strong, which can make you sick.

There are not two consecutive days off each week, so it may not be suitable for people who want a standard two-day weekend.

Pros

The interviewer explained the position very thoroughly.

They answered every question.

Having two interviews made it feel extremely thorough.

I originally applied for the event planning position, and I was able to shadow an event that same week.

Cons

The workday starts in the afternoon.

People looking for a typical office job may need time to adjust.

The approach to learning event recruitment methods during the initial period is somewhat unusual.

Newcomers to the workplace may need more time to learn.

Pros

There are training courses, so even if you have no experience, you don't need to worry.

Cons

Only after I went there did I discover that it was a matchmaking agency. At the site, I had to fill out the company's résumé form and take a personality test. After being hired, the process was competitive; for example, five people might be hired at once, but people would continually be dismissed every day, so in the end, only two might remain. Working hours were from noon to 9:30 p.m. The interviewing supervisor asked questions such as how I would find target customers, then kept probing further, which felt somewhat aggressive.

Pros

During the interview, they said I would start as an event assistant and learn how to organize events. When there were no events, I would learn marketing, and later, based on my performance, they would place me in the right position—either event planning or marketing planning.

Cons

When I actually started working, what they said was completely different from what was said in the interview. I can only say that they were too vague during the interview. At work, they required us to go on dating apps and chat with men who stayed at home to build their trust, so that they would come to participate in our events. If you simply enjoy organizing events, do not come here!!
