The interview assignment the company sent me was completed "that same day," but the "second" interview required waiting four weeks? At first, it felt like there was a chance of being hired, but after waiting four weeks, I've started to doubt whether my expectations were too optimistic. I'm still waiting even now.

Since it is in a rural area, the cost of living is considerably lower than in Hsinchu, which could also be considered another advantage XD.

Second-rate company technical standards. My current supervisor, for example, has very poor professional abilities. If you had to name his specialties, they would be relying on seniority, pretending to understand, and playing pass-the-buck. Whenever something goes wrong, he pushes the people below him forward to take the blame; protecting himself is what matters most. And upper management likes this kind of person. The code is mostly put together through makeshift methods, with no architecture whatsoever, resulting in bugs appearing constantly. So they frantically keep hiring people to patch the holes, but the more holes they patch, the more there are. Another drawback is that the location is somewhat remote.

Lively atmosphere, with many young employees; communication and work efficiency are both good.

Chairman Pan is definitely a boss who cares very much about his employees. The salary and benefits are of a very high standard, and there are also various subsidies available for employees to use.

The hierarchy is flat, making it relatively easy to interact directly with other managers at work.

The job is based on a responsibility system, with no overtime pay.

There is a big difference between R&D and non-R&D roles. In particular, one manager has a good relationship with HR and will recruit under an R&D title, but the actual work is not R&D, using this as a way to cut your salary.

There are significant differences between teams due to their managers’ working styles; employees’ circumstances vary greatly from team to team.

Most managers are quite capable and personally involved in the work, but there are also some managers who lack ability and only use working overtime as a performance metric.

Whether there are many miscellaneous tasks and whether you leave work late depends on the team.

The Zhunan location is a major drawback... Otherwise, it would be a first-rate company.

The pay is decent, and the supervisor is fairly reasonable.

You have to look into everything related to the projects.

But it’s definitely a good company.

It really depends on which department you join.

If you get a good one, you can leave as early as 6:30.

If not, working until nine or ten is the norm.

But the salary is definitely great~
