Read the community guidelinesI went directly to the mainland branch for the interview. Before the interview, the mainland HR representative communicated very attentively by email and even reminded me about the weather on the morning of the interview.
The Taiwanese executive responsible for the interview clearly did not want to pay for the round-trip airfare. He even complained in front of me about why we could not simply use video conferencing, and said that I was wasting his time by making him get up early to interview me. He was a very traditional Taiwanese executive and even openly said, “Why waste time looking for Taiwanese people?”
I joined the company in the second half of 2016.
I worked in sales, with a base salary of 30K.
I then built up my income through performance.
As someone in another comment said, some of those facts are true.
However, if you meet the targets,
you can currently claim a total of over 4K per month for transportation, phone, and client entertainment expenses.
Combined with commission,
if you are willing to do the work, you can actually earn money.
But
there is pressure from
supervisors, clients, teachers (bosses), company rules,
and performance targets.
