This company lacks a quality assurance supervisor. During work, he constantly swears, and all kinds of personal attacks are frequently directed at subordinates or colleagues from other departments. After you resign, he spreads rumors everywhere claiming that he fired you and that you are a useless piece of trash…… He is absent-minded; even after only a short time working with you, he can say things like, “How many times have I taught you?” When you follow the procedures he instructed, he angrily berates you, asking whether you know how to do your job at all. He even went on a three-minute tirade because, after I got a haircut, my scalp was visible!!! I was also accused of using “Chinglish” because of his incorrect English grammar (I had six foreign English teachers from the US, Canada, the UK, and South Africa teach me the expressions he called Chinglish). Overall, I stayed at the company for more than five months, but ultimately I really couldn’t take it anymore and resigned. I guess only people with extremely thick skin who don’t mind being humiliated for no reason could stay there! 人
1. Comprehensive benefits system
2. Interest-based clubs and a monthly birthday celebration
3. The R&D department is very close to headquarters
4. Clear division of responsibilities among departments
5. High employee turnover, with many job openings
6. High efficiency in HR and administration
7. Regular cross-departmental courses
1. Departments are divided too finely, making it difficult to perfect the regulations and clearly implement SOPs
2. Large companies have employee referral systems, which have both advantages and disadvantages. One disadvantage is that some people’s abilities do not match the job requirements
3. In some departments, ingratiating yourself with others is useful. If you do not do that but work very diligently, you may end up being overworked because you are capable
4. Some department managers constantly speak negatively about former employees, with some comments being purely rumors
5. When employees resign, some department managers hint that the industry is small and that managers all know one another. They do in fact inquire about which companies former employees are joining
6. The company location is relatively far from the MRT station, so taking a bus and walking are necessary
The company’s organizational structure and regulations are extremely chaotic, with no standards. The company handles many labor law requirements covertly, violating legal provisions. Parts of the contract are also extremely vague, and after employees join, the company uses its own privately established management rules to restrict many rights and benefits.
