Read the community guidelinesSeriously reviewed the interviewee’s information and portfolio.
1. The interviewer wanted to learn more about the interviewee through their interests, but the conversation became increasingly off track, leaving less time to discuss work details, collaboration, scheduling, and so on.
2. When asked when the result would be communicated, the interviewer said they would discuss it with the supervisor and let the interviewee know. However, there was never a follow-up email—or, more precisely, they did not clearly state that no notification within a week would mean the interviewee had not been selected. It is understandable that a company may decide someone is not suitable, but once an interview has been arranged, this is no longer the application-review stage, where a response may not necessarily be provided. Failing to do so showed a lack of respect for the interviewee.
Pros
You can receive a free pair of glasses for one year after passing the probationary period.
There is a NT$100 meal subsidy when organizing events.
For the new eyewear brand, if the plan is approved by the boss, the budget can be used more flexibly.
1. The company does not issue pay slips automatically. You have to request one at the beginning of the month, and you may not receive it until the end of the month.
2. The company has never issued pay slips in the past.
3. High salary reported at a lower amount for official purposes.
4. The boss is from Hong Kong and does not understand Taiwan’s regulations very well. The boss also smokes indoors. However, if you become someone the boss values, the boss will stop smoking because of you.
5. If you work on a holiday because of an event, taking more than three consecutive days off requires the supervisor’s approval. However, you may be persuaded to split up your leave.
6. It is difficult for the company’s internal staff to work together. When organizing an event, it is difficult to get everyone to participate.
7. The boss likes setting targets, but employees had not set targets internally in the past. Now, if you help create an evaluation form, they will protest.
8. There is a lot of internal conflict. Although there are only 10 people, it is very difficult for them to work together.
