Pros

1. Good environment

2. Lunch provided

3. Health insurance, labor insurance, group insurance, and employee health checkups

4. Leave for spiritual practice

Cons

1. You need to be capable of doing the job (you must be able to get up to speed immediately; unless you know someone or are referred by someone, in which case the requirements may be different)

2. The work pressure is high, and overtime is often required (it depends on the department—some departments are very relaxed, and employees rarely leave, so they leave work on time)

3. Responsibilities are highly specialized (you only do the work within your assigned scope, so the employee turnover rate is very low)

Cons

Job postings on recruitment websites all say things like “All handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Labor Standards Act!” But what is the reality?

Pros

My workplace does not comply with the Labor Standards Act. There are eight days off per month, and even during the month with the spring break, it is still eight days off. The pay is low, and frequent overtime is treated as a contribution. It is very tough, so anyone considering joining as a full-time employee should think carefully.
