Pros

As mentioned above, sometimes there is free fried chicken.

Cons

1. Constantly changing decisions make it difficult to know what to do; what is said today may be overturned in tomorrow’s meeting.

2. They take pride in complicated SOPs. Whether you can actually follow them is your problem, giving rise to a peculiar culture where everyone cheats.

3. Sincerely, I recommend not coming here to suffer.

Pros

HR will be very proactive about arranging an interview with you

Cons

At first, HR sent an interview invitation through 104. After I replied, HR only got back to me two weeks later, then proactively called several times to arrange an interview time. Even after learning that I was still employed, HR continued calling. Eventually, we arranged an online interview. On the day, HR said they would confirm with the manager and send me the online interview link, but then disappeared and became unreachable. I sat in front of my computer waiting for a reply throughout the scheduled interview time. Almost two weeks have passed, and there is still no response or follow-up, nor any apology or explanation for disappearing.

Job interviews are not only an opportunity for employers to interview candidates; candidates also evaluate the company. If the company cannot even provide the most basic response, I doubt its treatment of employees and working conditions are particularly good.

Pros

None

Cons

(1) I arrived at the interview on time, before the agreed-upon time, but no one at the first-floor reception desk would even bother with you! You have to wait at least 10 minutes..

(2) After going upstairs and completing the interview personal information form, the supervisor asks some idiotic questions. Then the supervisors who come in do not introduce themselves, but expect you to introduce yourself in detail (a typical unequal labor-management culture!). After seeing these laughable phenomena at this company, I believe they won’t improve over the next 10 years either! They will definitely be eliminated one day!

Pros

The female CEO's attitude and questioning during the interview were really obnoxious! So arrogant!

Cons

So your company wants to hire a chauffeur for a senior executive, huh? Let me tell you! Your crappy company, including the CEO and all the executives, only deserves to ride in taxis! Haha! What a load of crap!

1 Sometimes you can get free fried chicken, and even when it’s cold, it still tastes pretty good.

Cons

1. Employees are held to very strict standards and must follow the SOP exactly: dress and appearance, scripts, environmental cleanliness, etc. If you don’t do things properly, your performance rating is docked = no bonus; in serious cases, your pay is directly deducted.

2. High salary, low base pay: 28K and 29K are both low base salaries supplemented by bonuses. If you fail the performance assessment, you’re screwed.

3. The performance assessment is in the store manager’s hands; if the store manager doesn’t like you, you’re screwed.

4. The 10 days off per month are because the company takes all national holidays in advance and distributes them evenly across 12 months, so national holidays are not days off.

5. Before work, after work, and even while on vacation, you have to keep a close eye on the LINE group. If you don’t reply to messages, you’ll receive a “demerit.”

6. There are really a lot of miscellaneous tasks. Don’t think you’ll just be happily selling fried chicken—the amount of busywork will make you wonder whether a monthly salary of 28K is really worth it.

7. The number of consecutive working days does not comply with the Labor Standards Act. I have worked eight consecutive days (including ALL shifts), and senior employees have had even crazier schedules of ten consecutive working days.

8. The store manager makes the schedule, and even your preferred days off depend on the store manager’s mood. The schedule and staffing arrangements also depend on the store manager’s mood.

9. Whether overtime pay is provided also depends on the store manager’s mood.
