Pros

The explanation of the division of responsibilities during the interview was fairly general, and the actual scope of work was not clearly defined.

After joining, task assignments are relatively flexible, and you often need to take on different types of work independently.

Cons

This position actually leans toward hardware equipment maintenance and requires the ability to multitask and respond flexibly.

Pros

An IT department position, but in practice it is a mixture of “system operations and maintenance + user support + administrative tasks.”

The day-to-day work leans toward miscellaneous duties and handling ad hoc issues.

Basically, once you join, you will have to do every job, while everyone else is responsible for supervising you.

Cons

Mr. Su, the head of the Information Office, has emotional management issues.

Do not disclose personal information, interests, or hobbies in casual conversations with anyone from HR, managers, colleagues in the same department, or colleagues from administrative departments on the 7th floor.

⚙️ Work Conditions

Division of responsibilities is unclear, and work boundaries are vague.

There is no comprehensive handover or SOP.

Tasks are often adjusted at short notice, requiring you to fill gaps on your own.

You need to figure out solutions to system problems by yourself.

(Those with strong psychic abilities are preferred.)

👤 Management Style

Instructions are not always complete; you need to interpret them on your own.

Evaluation criteria are relatively flexible (and may change depending on the circumstances).

You are expected to absorb the cost of communication yourself.

(What is right or wrong is subject to others’ subjective judgment.)

⚠️ Recommendations

Be sure to confirm during the interview:

Whether the role genuinely includes information engineering-related duties

The scope of work and evaluation criteria

Whether there is a clear handover and training process

This role is more suitable for people who can accept an ambiguous environment and adjust independently.

If you prefer clear systems and an engineering-oriented role, evaluate it carefully.

Pros

If you work shifts on holidays, you can take compensatory leave on weekdays.

Cons

I interviewed for an administrative assistant position with a starting salary of NT$28,000 (despite having experience). At first, it seemed like there were many responsibilities, but by the end I realized something was wrong.

The job posting on 104 made it sound very simple—just administrative duties. It was only during the interview that I found out that, in addition to administrative work, I would also have to promote high-end health checkups in the community on holidays, drive to purchase ingredients needed by the hospital, and visit different branches to inspect repairs and supervise renovation work.

The working hours were standard, with a two-hour lunch break. The office space was extremely cramped, with everyone practically squeezed together.

After the HR interview, they said everything seemed fine, but I would still have to interview with the hospital director and the head nurse. I did not really understand why the head nurse needed to conduct an interview.

What made me uncomfortable was that the job posting on 104 described the position as purely administrative. However, after reviewing my résumé during the interview, HR said, “I think another general affairs position would suit you better, and the salary is higher too.” But I simply did not want a general affairs administrative role, and HR kept pushing it. They completely ignored the job seeker’s preferences, which was a waste of time. If the position was not purely administrative, they should not have invited applicants for an administrative opening to interview.

In the end, I was offered the job, but I did not accept it because, as described above, it was clear that there were serious problems with the hospital. On top of that, there were so many responsibilities, yet the salary was only NT$28,000 even for someone with experience.

Also, job seekers who are not good at refusing should be especially careful, because HR may earnestly beg you to accept the position. But if the job is not what you want, be brave and refuse. Do not feel embarrassed and end up accepting a job you do not want.
