1. The owner and the owner's wife do not manage the company's internal operations. The owner only focuses on shipping and does not care about anything else, while the owner's wife simply believes whatever the team leaders tell her and does not verify whether it is true.
2. The team leaders of the SMT and DIP soldering groups both act as though they are the owner's wife. They have even worse tempers than she does and bully employees. In particular, the leader of the DIP soldering group is extremely meddlesome and wants to control everything in the company. She even interferes with shipping. She has never done product QC or tested products, but whenever her informants tell her there is a problem, she will yell loudly enough for the entire company's production lines to hear.
3. The leader of the DIP group deliberately makes things difficult for employees. When you ask her for a tool, she does not even look for one and immediately yells that there are no tools. Later, she deliberately gives people broken tools to use. She also intentionally assigns people to places without enough workspace and then yells at them for working slowly. She keeps the useful tools for herself. When someone merely applies to the owner's wife for a tool, this leader will come over and threaten them, saying, “If you have something to say, say it to my face; don't talk behind my back.” Yet she herself talks badly about people behind their backs.
4. The leader of the DIP group also has two informants who go with her to the pantries on other floors to report on which employees are working and how they are doing in other groups.
5. Everyone has a different way of working. As long as the product is not damaged and can be shipped smoothly, people should be able to use the method that works best for them. However, in this company, every task must be done exactly as the team leaders say. If you do not follow their methods, they will criticize and berate you.
6. The company does not have proper SOPs for its products. They just give you an A4 sheet printed with two pictures and a few lines of text and call it an SOP. If you do not understand it and ask the team leader, you will be scolded with comments like, “Are you stupid?”
7. The people inside the company have no basic knowledge of electronic components. When component names are mentioned, no one understands them. In particular, the SMT team leader cannot tell how much solder is on a board. If a component has only a small amount of solder, she says it is an unsoldered joint, and she will also think that you are talking nonsense and are difficult to communicate with, deliberately ostracizing you.
8. The lunch break is only 40 minutes. You have to wolf down your food to have time for a short nap, which is hard on people with gastrointestinal problems. For those who want to take a short nap, the people there will not let them sleep. Those who do not nap either watch TV on a tablet with the volume turned up very loudly or chat loudly.
9. This company has a very high turnover rate. Whenever those team leaders encounter someone who is slightly more capable than they are, they find ways to drive that person to resign.
10. It is understandable that many manufacturing companies prohibit employees from bringing mobile phones, but the owner's wife uses this rule to allow bullying inside the company and prevent victims from collecting evidence.
11. Remember that the National Health Insurance Administration requires every new employee to be enrolled in health insurance on their first day of employment. However, this company does not enroll new employees immediately on their first day.
