Pros

1. A common enemy that brings colleagues closer together

2. Salary and overtime pay comply with the Labor Standards Act

3. The amount of overtime is still manageable

4. An opportunity to develop patience and become thick-skinned

Cons

1. The boss has a bad temper, and the verbal abuse is severe

2. The boss lectures you all day about how to conduct yourself, even though the boss is the biggest failure at being a decent person. The boss speaks extremely caustically and sometimes deliberately makes sarcastic remarks at people, then expects everyone to be understanding afterward and continues to make snide comments

3. The three traditional festivals come with gifts but no bonuses; the gifts are merely gift boxes provided by clients

4. Except for the associate general manager, the managers are all very ineffective. Their organizational skills are poor, and they do not know how to lead a team

5. The company has an extremely high turnover rate; more than a dozen people leave on average each year. The reason is self-evident

6. Projects are not handled carefully enough. Problems are often overlooked just for the sake of design, and when something goes wrong later, the boss starts berating people

7. Company dinners and birthday celebrations are both extremely awkward

8. The atmosphere at work is dull and lifeless, and being constantly watched creates a lot of pressure

9. Considering the firm’s size, the salary is relatively low, and raises also come more slowly

10. Work is distributed very unevenly and without any principles, making it impossible to focus on one thing at a time

11. There is not much to eat near the company, and the lunch break is not long enough to walk somewhere farther away

12. The company cannot retain employees; it can only retain mosquitoes (there are an incredible number of mosquitoes)

13. The boss brags every day about how many projects the company has taken on and how much money it has made, while employees receive nothing—there are no performance bonuses at all

14. The boss has very poor hygiene habits, often picking their nose, biting their nails, and scratching dandruff off their scalp onto the drawings while discussing designs. The boss also does not wash their hands after using the restroom

Pros

1. The boss used to be very capable.

2. The boss has good connections.

3. The boss hopes to develop every employee into a highly skilled all-rounder capable of taking on the work of 100 people.

Cons

1. Most employees have little to no experience, and outstanding employees never stay for long.

2. The work is mostly repetitive, limiting employees’ enthusiasm and opportunities to perform.

3. The boss is extremely emotional and very disrespectful toward employees, clients, and coworkers—even doing so deliberately at times.

4. The boss is poor at judging people, promotes the wrong individuals, and favors a style of glossing over problems to maintain an appearance of peace.

5. Salary, benefits, and overall compensation are generally below average in the industry, and the average percentage increase in salary after joining is low.
