Read the community guidelines1. The office environment is beautiful, because every morning you have to spend half an hour cleaning. If you are the person assigned to duty that day, you have to start packing up the garbage from the entire area at around three, just so you can make it in time to chase after the procession garbage truck at 3:30.
2. You will develop the habit of going to bed and getting up early, because the boss stipulates that you cannot spend your lunch break napping—you have to organize data! Employees’ time is used to the fullest.
3. You will become very frugal, because taking leave is prohibited before and after long weekends, making it impossible to schedule a long vacation for travel.
4. Your brain will learn to be flexible, because the boss’s wife is constantly changing her story, and things of all sizes that she has promised can suddenly be overturned!
5. You will become much more familiar with the Labor Standards Act, because your bosses do not really understand it. They make you work overtime and still brazenly refuse to pay you.
6. You will become highly adaptable and skilled at dealing with people. In this environment, those who stay a long time and those in higher positions are not necessarily the most capable workers. Instead, the ability to manage upward and handle situations is the key to staying!
7. You will become very tolerant. Once the probationary period ends, the company will do everything it can to prevent employees from passing probation, simply because it wants to save three months’ worth of allowance expenses.
8. The company will claim that business performance does not need to be measured by sales results, but at critical moments, sales results are everything!
9. You will become cautious in dealing with people and situations, because the supervisor secretly records meetings. Even if you put forward fair views and rational opinions, it is like participating in Squid Game—you will be eliminated immediately! Simply put, the company is like the Communist Party: employees’ thoughts and opinions are neither permitted nor considered important!
10. The company’s management methods and style are stuck in 1979 and have not improved along with the company’s growth in size!
The company’s upper management will never think that they are the ones with a problem!
Friendly to newcomers who are just entering sales work; performance requirements are relatively low-pressure, and there is less competition among colleagues for customers.
It was originally agreed that my salary would be adjusted after passing the probationary period, but the company always uses various reasons to postpone it. When asked, the company is unable to provide an explanation and only says that the boss has not yet responded regarding the review.
They often use emotional pressure based on friendly relationships among colleagues, asking employees to cooperate with the company to curry favor with the boss.
Kaohsiung locals; prefers employees from central and southern Taiwan (strongly servile)
Family business with no systems; decisions depend on the boss’s mood
The boss is a tycoon; everyone is welcome to come clean up the mess for the rich
Please exploit current employees to your heart’s content—whatever you do, don’t go easy on them
