Read the community guidelines1. Very close to the MRT station
2. No need to work at off-site locations
3. The interview atmosphere was fairly pleasant
1. Overtime can only be exchanged for compensatory leave
2. No flexible working hours
3. The restroom is somewhat dirty and old, making it uncomfortable to use
4. The interview process was pleasant, but there was no response afterward, so it was impossible to determine what type of person the boss was looking for
1. The boss is down-to-earth and very approachable.
2. The PM has clear thinking and strong communication skills, works efficiently and logically, and gives clear instructions, so there is no confusion caused by conflicting directions or uncertainty about what needs to be done.
3. The company proactively shares its profits with employees. When business is good, employees receive an annual bonus exceeding one month’s salary as well as fully paid overseas trips.
4. Afternoon tea, group meals, and a birthday cake every month are standard perks.
5. Although it is a project-based company, overtime is rare.
The above reflects what I personally witnessed during my three years there.
1. The common problem with project-based companies is that they trade time for money. In the short term, it is difficult to break out of the constraints on development. The company is working hard to develop new business models and increase profits rather than relying solely on projects.
2. When profits cannot be significantly increased in the short term, fixed personnel costs are not easily increased. As a result, certain responsibilities are shared among existing staff. For example, without a dedicated planning role, the PM and designers discuss and coordinate the work together.
Overall, however, it is a good and stable environment, and the boss is working hard to transform the company.
