After asking you to join the company, they changed the start date and time twice, claiming that they were still planning and arranging the work they would assign to you. Otherwise, what would they have you do when you came to work? Since the industry for this position was similar to my previous work experience, I decided to give it a try.
But… shouldn’t a company know what duties a new employee will perform when it posts a job opening? Yet, on the first day of work, they had not prepared a computer or provided any instructions or work assignments. They would only tell you to look into and research things yourself, and ask if you did not understand. Sometimes, when you asked questions, they could not explain clearly and would simply say they did not know. They were extremely irresponsible. I really could not understand what the people at the company were doing. Their explanations were often inconsistent.
I applied for a marketing position, but afterward they expected me to focus constantly on graphic design. Although I happened to know graphic design, I am not specialized in it and did not graduate in that field. These are two separate types of work, okay? Why didn’t they post the position as a professional graphic designer in the first place? They were unprofessional and wasted people’s time. The actual position was completely different from both what was discussed in the interview and the position I applied for. You should treat the job description on the application page as something to read but not take too seriously.
One person is expected to take on multiple roles. The company atmosphere is poor, the environment is ordinary, and it is a small home-based office. Neither management nor colleagues know how to lead or train people. The systems are inadequate, the benefits are average, and there are only a few office employees. There is no spirit of teamwork, yet they constantly emphasize teamwork. It is extremely inefficient, with no complete SOPs, clear positioning, or direction. No wonder the operations do not grow, and the product channels are neither distinctive nor innovative or diverse. There is no room for development. The company is focused on mobile economics and is not an engineering department.
If you are considering interviewing or working there, you can use the above as a reference and then decide whether you are interested. Unless you only want to collect a paycheck, you can give it a try; otherwise, do not waste your time! Only after joining did I discover that this company culture has quite a lot of problems.
