Read the community guidelinesThe company is located in a building
Right across from the MRT station, with convenient transportation
Excellent facilities and work environment
Large office
Good relationships among colleagues
Snacks and drinks are provided
Occasional group dinners
There is no overtime pay
Only four hours or more count as half-day compensatory leave
In other words, working for less than four hours does not count as overtime
So the company does not often require overtime
Production staff are not respected; your expertise can never convince senior management
Even if you point out that the workload is too heavy to be completed within the schedule
new work will still be added
The things you produce will be revised over and over and over and over again
They always think what you make is terrible and still needs work
until it is revised right up to the last minute
Your salary will include many other itemized components (perfect attendance, job level, other, overtime pay <- even though there isn't any)
The colleagues are pretty good. Someone earlier mentioned that the employees are young, because only young people would stay at a company with such terrible benefits.
Taking sick leave will result in deductions from annual leave, and the perfect-attendance system is worth as much as NT$2,000 (it is not an additional bonus). It does not comply with the Labor Standards Act, and do not expect overtime pay.
The salary discussed during the interview is different from the actual base salary offered. The bonuses for the three major holidays total only NT$1,000, and no year-end bonus is paid to employees who have worked for less than one year. To the boss, employees are not partners but merely targets for exploitation. The boss is extremely petty, belittling employees’ abilities, personalities, educational backgrounds, and so on.
There are many employees who stay for only one or three days before fleeing. Colleagues generally have very short tenures because the company truly cannot retain talent. Even though they fear being sued, they still warn everyone not to waste their time coming for an interview or even working here.
The colleagues are easy to get along with. Almost everyone is in their twenties or thirties, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. There are plenty of snacks and drinks—enough to eat until you’re stuffed.
A responsibility-based system; there is no overtime pay.
