The boss fires people on flimsy pretexts; how long you last depends entirely on his mood!

The front desk is extremely busy. In addition to our daily responsibilities, we also have to handle the boss’s personal errands, such as being told to go to the post office to mail coffee beans after work on a holiday. At the time, I told the boss and showed him that the post office was only open until noon, but the boss is extremely suspicious. The boss comes to the office every day, and no matter how busy we are, we have to pour his sparkling water and prepare his glass first.

You have to be extremely careful and cautious working here. When the boss is unhappy, he raises his voice. There is already so much work that cannot be finished, yet we still have to prioritize the boss’s tasks—cleaning out his coffee grounds and collecting his packages and trash. He throws his packages and trash around messily, which negatively affects the work environment and is extremely inconsiderate.

Are we here to work at the front desk or to be servants? A senior colleague was already driven to the point of developing depression and resigning because of the boss. Front-desk turnover is extremely high.

The worst part was that just before I was about to complete three months, I signed a two-year contract worth 470,000 for the company, and I was originally supposed to start receiving bonuses the following month. Unexpectedly, two days after I completed three months, HR suddenly told me that the boss felt I could not keep up with the progress and learned slowly. They all cited things that were entirely based on the boss’s feelings, without specific reasons. They also said I had not helped him mail coffee beans, among other extremely flimsy reasons unrelated to my work performance, and fired both me and my colleague. When HR notified us, they even said: “The company belongs to the boss. If the boss wants to hire or fire someone today, she has no way to decide.

What a terrible company.

Do not go~~ Run away quickly.

I don’t know whether I was hired as a receptionist or as a servant. A senior colleague has already been driven by the boss into depression and had to resign, and the front-desk turnover is extremely high.

Do not go there under any circumstances—run away~~
