The boss fires people on a whim, using any excuse he can find. How long you stay completely depends on his mood!

The front desk is extremely busy. In addition to our daily duties, we also have to handle the boss’s personal errands, such as being asked to go to the post office after work on a holiday to mail coffee beans. At the time, I told the boss—and looked it up to show him—that the post office was only open until noon, but the boss is extremely suspicious. The boss comes to the office every day, and no matter how busy we are, we have to pour him sparkling water and prepare a cup first.

You have to be extremely careful and cautious working here. If the boss is unhappy, he raises his voice. There is already more work than we can finish, yet we still have to prioritize the boss’s errands.

We have to clean up his coffee grounds and collect his packages and trash. He throws his packages and trash around haphazardly, negatively affecting the work environment. It is extremely unprofessional.

I don’t know whether I was hired as a receptionist or as a servant. A senior colleague has already been driven by the boss into depression and had to resign, and the front-desk turnover is extremely high.

The worst part was that just as I was about to complete three months, I helped the company sign a two-year contract worth 470,000. I was supposed to start receiving bonuses the following month. Unexpectedly, two days after I reached three months, HR suddenly told me that the boss felt I could not keep up with the pace and that I learned slowly. These were all just the boss’s subjective impressions, with no specific reasons. They also said that I had not helped him mail the coffee beans, among other things. Using extremely arbitrary reasons unrelated to my job performance, they fired both me and a colleague. When HR notified us, they even said: “The company is owned by the boss. If the boss wants to hire or fire someone today, she has no way to decide.”

What a terrible company.

Do not go there under any circumstances—run away~~
