Pros

For straightforward and honest people who want to experience the harsh realities of the workplace and strengthen their ability to protect themselves, it is worth a try.

Cons

1. No overtime pay, in violation of the Labor Standards Act

2. A severe culture of internal conflict; you have to work with trepidation

3. Too many people who only talk, and too few who actually do the work

4. Superiors’ professionalism needs improvement; they assess schedules arbitrarily and have ideas that are far too impractical

5. Senior employees’ words are treated as absolute, even when there are flaws in their expertise and logic

6. Salary adjustments are slow and small; don’t expect bonuses

7. Many employees slack off, smoking and playing mobile games all day

Those who honestly do their work may still be ostracized

Pros

The work is monotonous, but this monotony has also given rise to a culture of finding fault.

Cons

The culture of internal conflict is severe, as is the bureaucratic culture. Managers apply double standards extensively, and despite raising the issue more than ten times, it has never been resolved. Instead, I was treated as a troublemaker, and the situation became even worse. People who genuinely get things done are not suited to staying here; those who only know how to talk and flatter their superiors are the ones who get ahead.

Pros

A tiny cup of water

Cons

The HR department contacted me to arrange this interview; “I did not apply for this position myself.” Previously, they asked interviewees to fill out an electronic personnel information form, print it out themselves, and bring it along. After arriving, I took a mock TOEIC listening and reading test lasting 45 minutes. There were no problems with any of that.

Next came the interview with the supervisor. It was obvious that the supervisor did not approve of the interviewee’s previous work experience. At one point, the supervisor said they could not understand it; after the interviewee explained it in more detail, the supervisor still acted dismissively and refused to acknowledge the value of the previous work experience, showing absolutely no respect for the interviewee. (Especially since the interviewee did not even proactively apply for a position at your company—aaaaaa.) They may only recognize degrees from National Taiwan University, National Tsing Hua University, and National Chiao Tung University. The interviewee explained that they had left their previous job because the position required unlimited overtime, and the supervisor only said that the overall environment was bad?! You can imagine what this company is like...

The supervisor did not ask HR to conduct another interview afterward. Interestingly, the interview notice sent by HR said:

Check-in → Test → Supervisor interview → HR interview (estimated 2–3 hours)

The actual interview lasted “less than half an hour”.... Luckily, the 45-minute test beforehand took up some time...

If you are traveling to Hsinchu Science Park from another county or city, it is really inconvenient unless you drive yourself. I feel like it was a waste of time.

See if you all want to go experience it for yourselves!

Pros

As long as you curry favor with your supervisor, you can do whatever you want.

Cons

The job description is frequently changed, and you will definitely be asked to hand over quotations from your previous company (because it is a competitor). Employees often have to front more than 200,000 in expenses for the boss during business trips. Everyone in sales there thinks that fronting 200,000 in business-trip expenses for the company every month is “normal.”

For female sales employees, there are no professional requirements; to the boss, they are simply “maids who surround him.” It is a work environment that disrespects women.
