The hiring manager does not respect candidates and is overly self-important. HR is also completely unprofessional. If they decide not to hire you, they simply ghost you without any notice.
The hiring manager from the department was very courteous and polite during the interview.
They explained the company’s various departments and the job responsibilities without making unrealistic promises, allowing the applicant to independently assess whether to accept the position.
Unfortunately, the HR department’s attitude was really poor.
1. HR used various tactics to suppress the salary offer. If your previous salary was too high, they would continue asking about the salary from the job before that. I have to ask: if they cannot afford to offer a salary based on your most recent position because it was too high, do they keep asking until they find a lower salary to use as a reference? Is your HR department’s ability to assess salaries not a little too poor?
2. HR’s professionalism was extremely low. They only told you the salary and left you to calculate whether it was suitable yourself. Other Fortune 500 companies provide detailed explanations of each figure and calculate and disclose the total annual compensation. You can tell from HR how poorly this company is administratively run.
There is a dormitory available, but the soundproofing is extremely poor
They keep saying, “If something goes wrong, who will take responsibility?”
The training for new hires is basically done carelessly and is quite different from what was originally described

If you have no experience, please don't come to the SMT ME department. The veterans there refuse to teach anyone and don't care whether you sink or swim. Not long after you arrive, they throw an entire production line at you to manage, along with capacity targets and all sorts of miscellaneous tasks, leaving you to bear the responsibility. The line operators have more seniority than you, so you still have to read their expressions and manage the atmosphere. Overall, the work environment is very unhealthy.
Inexperienced newcomers should absolutely not join. Learning is exhausting, the systems there are chaotic, and the basic employee training is completely useless. No matter what you do, people give you hostile looks. It's emotionally draining.
The interior environment of the Zhonghe Park building is pretty good.
The interview brought in a bunch of people (four). Besides asking about abilities, they also asked some boring questions about getting along with coworkers.
They test TOEIC (requires communicating with foreigners by phone)—RD department.
