1. The interviewer was very blunt and would openly comment on what they thought was lacking right there on the spot. Even though I was applying for a sales assistant position, they kept saying what someone working in sales should be like.
2. It felt like after interviewing you for just a few minutes, they had already started commenting on what kind of person they thought you were, asking whether you were confident and whether you had plans for your life.
3. The job responsibilities were explained unclearly, and the attitude was very casual.
Getting a rejection letter without even an interview—is that considered an advantage?
I don't know whether this company has developed the kind of employer arrogance that has become even more rampant since the pandemic, because when a company doesn't even give you an interview opportunity, is it because the applicant who submitted the résumé is too useless, or because the employer's arrogance has flared up and they think that even if you're a graduate of a diploma mill with a master's degree from Taiwan, you would be too difficult to exploit and would be more likely to ask for a decent salary, so they simply don't give you an interview opportunity? This shows that it's yet another employer who thinks other people have pneumonia while they themselves have a swollen head. For all you know, this employer may think that unless you graduated from NTU's Computer Science department with a purebred PhD, accept a salary of NT$22,000, and voluntarily work overtime without overtime pay, you're not qualified to be their disposable, exploited labor. So don't waste your energy submitting an application.
The company is building a new building, and it seems that the female employees were all selected carefully.
The position applied for was different from the position interviewed for.
There aren't really any advantages to the interview; the only advantage is that it's a large company, I guess (?)
When asked about the job responsibilities, they couldn't explain them clearly. The responsibilities they described did not match those posted on 104.
