My interview experience a few days ago~ The company’s interior is quite cozy, with the feel of a trendy, Instagram-worthy café. It overturned my old-fashioned impression of traditional companies that sell copiers. The employee benefits should be pretty good. The interviewer asked many professional questions about my views on CSR and corporate social responsibility. Luckily, I had done a bit of preparation at home in advance XD! I hope I get hired (waiting to hear back).

I really couldn’t have imagined it! The company environment and colleagues are all wonderful and warm, and the managers are very dedicated. Every day, I get to visit a variety of high-quality clients!

Our efforts on energy conservation and carbon reduction issues such as CSR and ESG have received considerable praise from clients. In recent years, several newly launched and represented products with the highest market shares have fully leveraged our strengths. I have so many client inquiries and scheduled meetings that I can hardly keep up. As long as you put your heart into developing your business, the resources, opportunities, and platform here will help you gain a great deal! There’s more business than I can handle! There are too many projects I want to take on, and I always feel like there isn’t enough time!

Sometimes there are hydroponic vegetables to eat. The outdoor area is very clean, and the restrooms are also very clean.

The biggest person there loves talking about who they know, but the chances of actually getting them to come in for a cross-industry collaboration are very low. They say they care about results, so they tend to ignore the issues along the way and focus solely on achieving a good outcome. If you raise a problem during the process, there is a high chance it will be pushed back.

There is a supervisor there who loves spreading gossip and looking down on people.

It is a mess—run away quickly. In that place, you can really only wait until you get old; it does not help you at all.

Also, they will make you feel that you are terrible. The people there are all roughly the same age, and they no longer have the drive to strive for anything. Basically, they are all just waiting for retirement. Young people who join will be miserable.

The environment is nice, and sometimes you can eat aquatic vegetables.

Although the environment is nice, you can't use things freely; someone will come over and lecture you.

The managers lack logic. What upper management thinks differs from what the supervisors think, making it difficult for those below to get things done.

There is a lot of internal conflict, and people gossip to an absurd extent.

There are many people with an inflated sense of themselves.

There are many people who look down on others.

If there are really no advantages, don't go in—run away quickly.

It feels like a very large company?

To add some context, the interview took place at the end of 2019.

1. I hope HR can better understand the company’s needs before sending out interview invitations.

2. The person responsible for the interview was extremely arrogant. They barely listened to my resume, self-introduction, or portfolio. It was very surprising that a senior executive at a large company would have such a terrible attitude.

3. After the interview ended, they said they would ask someone to escort me out, then disappeared. After sitting there for ten minutes, I turned off the lights myself, informed the receptionist, and left.

Many strange parachuted-in department heads—regardless of the position they join in, they all belong to sales. The bosses are all very good at making grandiose claims, often pretending to be familiar with and know various people. They have said it hundreds of times, yet there is still no cross-industry collaboration. Already resigned.

The manager showed her shoulder during the interview, which felt very casual and unlike a Japanese company. When asked questions, the interviewing manager gave halting, incoherent answers, which left a very bad impression.
