Read the community guidelinesTo begin with, I’m talking about the IT department. The only thing that made me happy there was having a good manager. Whenever something happened, the manager would take full responsibility; when faced with difficult problems, they would work with you to solve them. They provided guidance and were responsible and conscientious. Unfortunately, another manager forced them to leave the company through internal power struggles. It was a great pity, so the company no longer has any advantages.
The salary the company offers newcomers is laughable. New hires are paid around 30,000 or less (about the same as at 7-ELEVEN), while even experienced employees only earn around 50,000, unless they have a very good relationship with certain managers.
It is a responsibility-based system, and you will be required to work overtime if you do not finish your work. Basically, if a project is somewhat urgent, leaving work after 10 p.m. every day is normal, and you can only exchange the overtime for compensatory leave.
The company used to make money by selling accounts-receivable systems for banks to use, but it is no longer as profitable as it once was. As a result, the IT department is no longer valued as highly as before. Now they are doing something called Li X Duo in mainland China, an investment product that increasingly feels like a pyramid scheme.
Newcomers should not waste their time joining either. There is not much advanced technology to learn there. As for experienced veterans… other places should offer better待遇.
None for now
After scheduling a time, the interview confirmation email sent by HR not only had the date and time wrong, but even misspelled the company’s own name...
Can't think of any...
During the interview, they already said that my offer was confirmed and asked when I would be available to respond.
After I responded, I went to report for work when the time came.
Then HR started messing with me, saying that I had to wait a week to sign some kind of agreement, and then, after a week, told me that I hadn't been hired...
They played me and wasted my time, making me go there for nothing.
They even completely forgot about the first interview appointment.
During the manager's interview, they were only saying to themselves that they couldn't really find people, and that everyone they found and confirmed ended up not showing up. Are you sure your HR department doesn't have something against you..? Speechless.
