I applied for a position at the Dayuan plant and had already scheduled an interview date and time. I specifically took time off to attend the interview, but when I arrived, I was only then told that the position was no longer available because production capacity had been reduced. The head office HR department should have notified me, but I checked 104 and found no notification whatsoever, nor did I receive a call. They simply closed the job posting, wasting the applicant’s time and causing the loss associated with taking time off specifically for the interview. This careless, expedient attitude is unacceptable.

The interview was conducted by a manager with a distinctive surname and an HR representative who seemed to have gotten in through connections. During the interview, the manager played the bad cop, frowning and continually picking out issues from my résumé and pressing me with follow-up questions based on my answers. Overall, it felt as though they were determined to stump you. During the interview, aside from repeatedly slamming a book and occasionally echoing what was said, the HR representative did not seem very professional. I am unsure whether the company’s work atmosphere is also like this.
