Pros

None

Cons

Severe internal infighting. Colleagues in the same department may pretend to be friendly with you while gossiping about others behind their backs. If you want to be a lackey, you can come here.

Pros

Basically, you can stay until retirement with stability, and there is also a comfortable dining environment—that’s about it.

Cons

1. Internal infighting is extremely serious! (But there are still good people around ^_^)

2. Someone from a certain Japanese department may appear easy to get along with on the surface, but is actually quite evil deep down. They may even treat others with prejudice, are extremely self-important, and are simply an awful person. If you happen to become coworkers with this Japanese woman, my advice is to run quickly to avoid emotional and mental exhaustion, haha!

3. Factionalism is very serious; before long, you can sense the differences between the various factions.

Pros

There aren't really any advantages; it's just a dead-end salary.

Cons

There is a lot of infighting, and capable people can't be retained. I’m very disappointed with the company’s senior management.

The long-serving employees will stab you in the back if they take a dislike to you, and they really like to pull rank based on seniority.

In particular, a certain export ocean-freight sales employee is a despicable person who loves to act one way in front of people and another behind their backs. If they are unhappy about anything, they immediately make trouble for you. Even managers and colleagues in other departments dislike this person. They have little ability but love showing off, yet cling to the job and refuse to leave—a textbook freeloader.

The company’s Taiwanese employees are opposed to the Japanese employees. In particular, Japanese senior managers will take advantage of you and grope you when no one is around at year-end parties, abusing their power to do all sorts of things, while even long-term employees turn a blind eye and let things slide.

When the company wants you to leave, it will not comply with the Labor Standards Act. It will definitely use underhanded tactics to avoid paying severance and force you out.

Conclusion: If you have nothing else to do, by all means, don’t come here and waste your time.

Pros

Lunch breaks and leaving work on time

Cons

Salary levels depend heavily on the supervisor's preferences rather than work performance. Internal struggles are manageable as long as you don't get involved.

Pros

Lacking ambition; you can stay there and just collect a paycheck like a civil servant.

Cons

- Severe internal infighting, especially between the Japan faction and the Taiwan faction

- Very few opportunities for promotion; older employees cling to their positions and refuse to leave

Senior employees don't dare change jobs because they don't know where they could go, which shows they don't have much of a competitive advantage

- Gender inequality in workplace promotions

- Don't waste time submitting a résumé, because whenever there is an opening, they will first look for someone they know internally
