Read the community guidelinesThe company currently has strong growth potential!
And it also has good prospects for the future~
It’s just a shame that some aspects are lacking.
1. There is no annual leave (7 days).
2. Leave for personal matters is unpaid. Since annual leave is not provided, it is necessarily deducted from the base salary.
3. The company takes half an hour of work time every day: working from 8:00 to 12:00, lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00, and working from 13:00 to 17:30.
So there is an extra half hour of work every day.
4. Employees are often asked to also perform factory-operator duties. I can accept this (colleagues help one another).
5. Basic benefits are below the requirements of the Labor Standards Act.
6. The company is scheduled to relocate to Nantou in May 2019, so the work location will change (if you cannot accept this, you will have to resign voluntarily).
The HR representative and the chairman who conducted the interview were both very friendly.
I applied for a marketing planning position. The factory and office are in the same building, and the office equipment was extremely outdated—to the point that I was a little shocked.
(The chair surfaces were damaged, the space was very cramped, and the setup felt a lot like school office desks from twenty years ago. Although the weather was relatively cool that day and the air conditioning was not turned on, there was a mixture of sweat and body odor that I personally found difficult to tolerate.)
They required applicants to handwrite a traditional résumé, including information such as their national ID number (I requested not to fill in that field).
I interviewed directly with the chairman that day (the only person I spoke with was the chairman), who was very friendly. However, we only discussed the general job responsibilities. The main duties would be handling product listings and promotions on e-commerce platforms, as well as assisting with exhibitions and market research, so it seemed to be more of an assistant-type role. I got the impression that they were quite unfamiliar with the field of online marketing. They did not mention salary or benefits. They said they would schedule a second interview the following week, but when I asked what I needed to prepare for it, he said they would contact me by phone. I thought it was probably just a polite remark. Sure enough, they never contacted me.
Great opportunities for growth; one person is expected to do the work of several.
Every other week off; when the sales team works in the office, you’re expected to work too.
It’s recommended to clarify all benefits during the interview before making a decision.
