The senior management pretends to be very generous, but is actually incredibly stingy. The company makes a ton of money, yet the year-end bonus is only one month’s salary. I earn about 600,000 a year. If I had known, I would have gone back to the shipping company and stayed quietly in Taipei; even after deducting rent, I would have made more.

1. The salary was supposedly negotiable, but they offered NT$35,000, which is already illegal.
2. The salary negotiation was just for show; they changed it themselves.
