The plant manager on site hurls verbal abuse and does not understand the processes.
The leader's temperament is unpredictable, and they may dismiss employees arbitrarily. Those considering joining should think carefully.
At the beginning, HR asks about the reason for leaving your previous company, what you did during any gap between jobs, working hours, and whether you receive a Mid-Autumn Festival gift box, among other things. Since the company was acquired by BenQ and an IT manager was assigned, you can choose the Nanzi plant as your work location. Just answer honestly when the IT manager asks what you did at your previous company, and they will also ask why you left your previous company.
It feels like a traditional-industry company. Although it was acquired by a large company, there have not been many cultural changes. You still have to work at the Yongan plant.
There are no bonuses for the three major holidays, and there is no year-end bonus equivalent to 1.5 months. Compensation is negotiable (regular monthly salary of NT$40,000 or more), but everything is below NT$40,000.
I applied for a technician position.
The HR representative in charge of the interview had a very friendly attitude, and the interview process was pleasant. I recommend asking as many questions as possible during the interview if you have any.
The salary was the same as stated on the website (I heard there is also a two-month year-end bonus), so if you want to earn money, you can give it a try.
The machines are automated, so it seems more like monitoring the equipment and does not require much physical labor?
1. Applicants for the technician position must be able to accept relatively loud machine noise (earplugs are provided) and standing for long periods.
2. The meal break is only 30 minutes. This is what I consider the biggest drawback, although there are other breaks during the day. Ask HR for details.
3. I am not sure about relationships among coworkers. However, based on my previous experience working in factories, there will certainly be some people with short tempers (judging from previous comments), so people who are easily upset are advised not to join.
